HEADING THE DEPARTMENT

Plan and execute Supplier Quality Management System. Experienced in Material Inspection for the Projects from the supplier, manufacturer works and plan for the delivery schedule as per the projects master schedule.
Finding a best possible balance between the customer needs, Product Realization and management strategies.
Establish Strategy to manage partnership between “the Employer and Inspection Agencies”. Having experience in Planning, Interaction and Executing the Inspection Agencies like Lloyds, Germenschier Lloyds, DNV.

Establish Quality Related Manpower requirements, in conjunction with the Supply Chain Management (SCM), Fabrication and Operations Departments for the scope of work. Experienced in setting up a Quality Department from the inception / start.
Planned, Executed the Inspection and delivery activities in consultation with Supplier, fabrication, Maintenance and construction departments whichever is in force in any industry.
Review and Approve QC Inspection Plan.
Any QA/QC plan pertaining to the Company should be Reviewed and approved. Supplier, Contractor, inter department inspections, Commissioning activities are to be Planned, tested and approved in final to derive a quality work status.
Assign QC resources to attend bid clarification meetings, pre-award, coordination.
Self is experienced in participating pre award meetings, incorporating the inspection activities in line with the scope of managements business and helps in adding into the budget proposal.
Pre-inspection meetings as well as deploy, co-ordinate, supervise and direct inspection activities in the Singapore facilities. Meetings will be the core activity to monitor the schedule, delivery, inspection activities, and track the highlights of it. So meeting at the initial, intermediate and final shall effective to do the best co ordination.
Monitor and update Project Management Team of significant problems identified by the inspectors and initiating timely follow-up and close-out The problems could be on technical, material, manpower, Design and modification. The problem faced by the Supervisor / QC inspector can be analyzed internally first and shall be brought into the notice of the concerned department / in charge and help to find solution and close out. Lesson learnt from mistakes / previous experience shall also be taken into consideration.
Co-ordinate, resolve and close-out of Vendor Deviation Request.
The problem could be of different nature from Design to Testing, Drawing to Deviation, Standards to Experience. The affected department heads will be contacted for the solution.
Review Inspection Non-conformance Reports and seeks resolution It is one of the basic & core function of Inspection of any nature. The NCR to the procedure, test plan, test results, damage to the shape, usage, obsolete products, out dated technology are to be identified and value its merits of usage to the next course of action.
Provide Technical Support on Quality Control Related Topic for the region.
Experienced in training the engineers in the field of Welding, Non destructive testing, ISO Auditing Quality Control and Quality Assurance field, prepared them to face the realities of the Quality matters.
