• Line walk to verify compliance to drawings.
• Reviewing radiographs and other NDE reports.
• Witnessing hydrostatic pressure testing.
• Review dossiers for mechanical complition.

Position : QC Engineer
Projects :Jamnagar Export Refinery Project , PTA-3 Project Hazira & VMP
Shutdown .
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing contractors’ Quality Control Plans, Welding Procedures (WPS).
• Witnessing Procedure and Welder Qualification Tests.
• Review and approval of Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure qualification
Records and Welder Qualification Records.
• Incoming materials Inspection including verification of traceability, Review of
Material Test Certificates against specifications (Type 3.1 , 3.2 ).
• Monitoring Contractors’ all Quality related activities of piping fabrication & erection,
Underground pipelines in accordance with code (ASME B 31.3) and specifications
(Bechtel-France) including, fit-up check,weld visual inspection,compliance to
Isometric Drawings.
• Interpretation and evaluation of radiographs.
• Witnessing other NDE and Positive Material Identification.
• Monitoring Post weld Heat treatment.
• Line walk to verify compliance with P&ID , Isometric Drawing and GA Drawing.
• Giving Mechanical and NDE clearance for Pressure testing of piping systems.
• Witnessing hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure Tests.
• Preparations of System Dossiers (For Piping).

• Verifying dimentions of dies for forging.
• Monitoring Tool life of the dies used for forging.
• Verify dimensions in accordance to drawing and standards (ASME B16.5).
• Review Test Certificates against material specification ASME SA 105.
• Witness NDE like PT and MPI.
• Verify marking on completed Forging in accordance with specification.

Education : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Qualification :CSWIP 3.1 LEVEL-II in RT,UT,MT,PT in accordance
with SNT-TC-1A.

Knowledge of major MS office software applications,including word, excel and Power point
