I am an experienced planner/scheduler interested in opportunities in Southeast Asia. I have several years experience in project controls, as well as vast knowledge in the oil and gas field. Please find my resume attached.


I have vast experience in project controls on major onshore and offshore (including extensive subsea) capital projects (including international projects). I am skilled in utilizing Primavera (from 3.1 through 6.2) (and Suretrak) and Microsoft Project. I also use Excel, Microsoft Access and Power Point. Further, each project required me to become proficient with the respective proprietary in-house Cost and Progress software. As a member of the project team, responsibilities have always included development of engineering, procurement, and construction schedules in addition to quantity based physical progress measurement system. Other responsibilities have always included managing the implementation of resource-loaded schedules, monthly cost forecasts and preparation of monthly management reports, deriving critical path, pin-pointing areas of concern early on, forming and implementing plans of action expediently to the management team and client, accompanied with accurate and quality reports delivered on time daily. I have created turn around schedules for plant shut downs, while upgrades were done, which requires scheduling in units of hours, which I can also do with Primavera. I create schedules from Pre-FEED all the way through Engineering, Procurement, Construction,Commissioning and Startup, as well as Manufacturing and Production schedules, keeping all items produced and delivered on time or early. I have handled projects all the way through Closeout. I have been a trainer for schedulers on multiple projects. I have used SAP on several jobs, and have SAP training Certifications. I am also well versed in applying and using Earned Value and measuring Productivity. I have also been trained in and done Risk Analysis (mostly with PERTMASTER), and Cost Management. I am well versed in Change Management.

I am interested in and available for travel, out of state and overseas for long term assignments, particularly in Southeast Asia – Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia.

Reliance Industries Limited
Senior Planning and Document Control Manager Kakinada, India 1/10 - Present
Managed a staff of Document Control, Administration and Planning/Cost for KG-DWN-98/3 Field development Project. I am in charge of the 24 hour a day operations of the MSV (Multiservice Vessel), which does maintenance and repair on all of the gas and oil fields for this project. Daily coordinating of equipment between the warehouse and the vessel.
The field is located at block KG-DWN-98/3 in the Krishna Godavari Basin, Bay of Bengal off the East Coast of India. Subsea wells, manifolds, Deepwater PLEM, and all associated equipment. Daily meetings with the client and constant communication with the vessel and engineers to keep it busy. Use Scheduling software Microsoft Project and SAP for work instructions and costing. Also use SOLO (database) for storing documents along with our document control register.

Senior Planning Manager Subsea Group Houston, TX 7/09-1/10
BP Angola - Senior Planning Manager for Manifolds, using Primavera 6.2 to create/maintain/report on Subsea schedules on a multi-billion dollar project (over $2 Billion). Overall SOW includes engineering, procurement, manufacturing and delivery of Manifolds, Manifold Support Structures and Piles (and all of the components of these items). I have daily contact with Leeds, England, Celle, Germany, Angola and Berwick, Louisiana teams to coordinate EPC schedules and ensure that quality products are delivered on time (or early) and under budget.

Jack /St. Malo – Senior Planning Manager for IWOCS (Intervention (or Installation) & Work Over Controls System)
using Primavera 6.2 Enterprise on shared server on 4,000 plus schedule. Regular updates with in-house engineering, procurement, & manufacturing at Houston. I make frequent visits to the job site and I handle three interacting schedules on a multi-hundred million dollar project ($500MM before repricing). Overall SOW includes engineering, procurement, manufacturing and delivery of IWOCS (and all of the components of these items), as well as helping maintain all other packages of the overall Cameron scope of this project. I deliver quality, accurate, on time reports to management and the client on a daily basis.

Turner & Townsend
Planner/Scheduler LEAD, BP Houston, TX 7/07 – 7/09
Plan and schedule (with Primavera 6.2) BP Pipeline projects. Work directly with Project Managers, Procurement, Accounting and Cost team. Created and did regular maintaining of schedules. Also, did regular field visits for Constructability Reviews, meetings and to check progress. Work on the core team of project controls to coordinate all of the scheduling efforts as well as scheduling/planning staff. Helped create and implement WBS structure for all BP Pipeline projects. I also use SAP for project updates on a regular basis. Some projects included the Jacksonville Pipe Bridge Relocation, Louisville Dock Repair, and CAM Booster.

LEAD Planner/Scheduler, Chevron
I planned and scheduled (with Microsoft Project and Primavera 6.1) all of Chevron Pipeline Company’s pipeline projects (handling up to 20 jobs at a time). Worked directly with all Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, as well as doing regular field visits to retrieve updates and worked closely with staff in the field. I also delivered consistent, accurate, quality reports on a daily basis to upper management. Some projects included the Hawaii Refinery Pipeline, Piceance, West Texas LPG to name a few. I was required to do turnaround schedules during this time. The West Texas LPG required a schedule, with units in hours, to schedule the shutdowns needed and the pipe upgrade coming into the plants on the West Texas LPG Project.

Planner/Scheduler, AMEC Paragon Engineering Services, Inc. Houston, TX 01/03 – 7/07

BP Mardi Gras (Gulf of Mexico): Provided planning and scheduling for design, fabrication, installation and hookup of shelf and onshore system for deepwater/subsea Gulf of Mexico developments daily with project manager and in-house client. This project included offshore and onshore pipelines, platforms and onshore terminals. Responsibilities included bi-weekly and monthly issues of the project schedules, meeting with disciplines, and interaction with engineering, procurement and cost teams. Schedule components included (among others) drilling and completion tasks. My schedule included (among other components) Mad Dog, Atlantis & Holstein (largest PDQ truss spar in the world). This project also included cutting edge technology in completion, all of which were captured in the schedule. I also worked on several LNG projects. I was also the Project Controls lead for a Chevron Texaco Large Scale Steam Flood Pilot Project in Kuwait.
Also worked on:
Kinder Morgan Rockies Express Pipeline Project (United States). Planning, scheduling and updating 1000 + activity schedule. I created the original schedule for the 42 inch 1323 mile 4.5 billion dollar pipeline project, which included Right of Way, Environmental (including all of the extensive FERC reports), Surveying, Procurement, Construction and all of Gulf’s Engineering activities. I also incorporated contractors’ schedule updates into overall Master Schedule. Correlated activities in the schedule with the in-house progress system to produce weekly and monthly schedule and cost reports. I assisted in risk management of oil/gas project. I worked closely with upper management and the client on a daily basis.
Rentech Energy Midwest Corp. Feedstock Conversion Project. The multi-million dollar project was to convert the existing Ammonia facility from natural gas feed to a syngas feed derived from the gasification of coal.
Responsibilities included creating, updating and progressing the FEED schedule, the Early works schedule, and the construction schedule. Additional duties included tracking progress using Scorecard (Worley Parson’s progress software). Daily communication with the engineering team, upper management, and the in-house client was required to efficiently perform the above mentioned responsibilities.
Marathon EGLNG Project (West Africa). Planning, scheduling and updating progress reports for Worley Parsons Equatorial Guinea Gas Plant Train 2 FEED project. The project, budgeted at 1.5 Billion dollars, entailed offshore pipelines, gas compression and gathering platforms, and an LNG plant with corresponding gas plant. Responsibilities included creating, updating and progressing the FEED schedule, the Early works schedule, the construction schedule, and the overall program schedule for the onshore scope. The offshore scope required developing various schedules to allow for the efficient integration within the overall project. Additional duties included tracking progress using Scorecard (Worley Parson’s progress software) and incorporating the findings into the overall project FEED schedule. Daily communication with the engineering team, upper management, and the in-house client was required to efficiently perform the above mentioned responsibilities.

Project Controls Analyst/Planner Scheduler LEAD (Cost & Schedule), Technip, Houston, TX 10/00 – 01/03

Implemented project controls on multi-billion dollar petrochemical, offshore & sub sea projects, including an ethylene cracker project. Responsibilities included creating engineering, procurement and construction schedules, quantity based progress measurement system, monthly cost reports, cash flow projections and monthly management reports. Other responsibilities included resource histograms, productivity profiles and 90-day look ahead schedules, as well as cost reporting.

I worked as an integral part of the project teams on various offshore and petrochemical projects, including LNG and gas plants, including an ethylene cracker project. Projects ranged from FPSO’s, topsides and jackets, including several international (including Chinese) multi-billion dollar international projects. Produced schedules and cost reports on regular basis and worked in conjunction with the estimating department to expedite the change management process. One project of note was the Sakhalin Island Project. ExxonMobil was able to reduce drilling and completion times with advanced technologies (such as their Fast Drill process) that were incorporated into the schedule as well.

Scheduler, Raytheon Constructors, Inc. (Schedule and Cost) Pine Bluff, AR, 10/96 -10/00

I worked on-site in the field from FEED through large part of construction of a 512 million dollar governmental project building the Chemical Demilitarization Plant at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. I was an integral part of each phase from Pre-FEED, clearing and grubbing, all the way through mid-construction. Responsibilities included preparation of the monthly progress report, daily schedule maintenance, coordinating submittals to the Corps of Engineers & Construction, weekly walk downs of the project with the client. Other duties included production of the 90 Day Look Ahead schedules, plotting Phase Summaries, Milestones and other charts required by the Corps of Engineers, supporting change orders with schedule forecast against the baseline, craft loading forecasts, and procurement forecast schedule reports. Total schedule was over 20,000 activities. I created and updated Cost Reports for the client on a regular basis. I was responsible for reviewing and approval of invoices from subcontractors. I performed Walk Downs with ACOE, subcontractors, observed work and agreed on value of work was done on weekly walk downs. I progressed payments accordingly based on earned value of work completed.
