Client Representative for AGIP KCO Kazakhstan Geotechnical Operations: the operations were conducted during June and July 2007 and were both land and marine based.
Senior Geophysicist for FUGRO OSAE Cable route survey across Norwegian Trench delineating cold water corals. Responsibilities involved data acquisition QC and interpretation. Work was performed on board the Kommandor Jack during April 2007.
Client Representative for AGIP KCO Kazakhstan Geotechnical Operations on board the drilling barge WB 109. The work involved acquiring borehole data to 90 metres using soil sampling and CPT techniques for the construction of ice barriers and artificial islands in the northern sectors of the Caspian Sea. Party Chief / Geophysicist for pre route surveys for cable installation in Persian Gulf. The project was carried out on behalf of Fugro Surveys Middle East (FSME) for Alcatel Submarine Networks, between May and July 2005 on board MV Zakher Fugro. On board interpretation of the geophysical data was performed, in order to establish gravity coring positions for geotechnical data acquisition and onboard analysis for route planning.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist for pre route surveys in West Africa. The project was carried out on behalf of Stolt Offshore for Chevron, between December 2004 and March 2005 on board MV Seaway Legend .
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist for Mobil Arthur EPIC Pipeline Contract 2004 in UK Sector. The project was carried out on behalf of Stolt Offshore, during October 2004 on board MV Normand Mermaid.

Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist for Ormen Lange Pipelines pre route surveys in Norway. The project was carried out on behalf of Geoconsult AS Norway for Norsk Hydro, between May and September 2004 on board MV GeoBay.
Client Representative Snamprogetti Italy Coordinator of multi contractor project, in the inspection of two pipelines from Russia to Turkey in the Black Sea. Mainly involved in quality control of technical specifications and Shore approach in Turkey during November and December 2003.

Operations Geophysicist Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria in Port Harcourt Nigeria.
This position involved supervising the land seismic operations for a 3 D seismic crew in the Niger Delta, on behalf of SPDC. Duties included monitoring everyday operations, liasing with the client representatives, HSE and Community issues, contract negotiation and weekly visits to the crew. This position was held between June and August 2002.
Survey QC Representative (Seismic, and Processing) on board the Ramform Vanguard. The project was a ten streamer, single source, 3D marine acquisition exploration survey offshore West Africa, on behalf of SNEPCo (Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company). The project was conducted during September October and November 2001 and comprised 1000 kms2 of data acquisition.
Hazard Site Survey QC Representative on board the MV Geo Prospector. The project was an integrated analogue and digital single streamer, hazard site survey offshore Norway, on behalf of RWE-DEA Norsk AS. The survey area comprised a 4.4 km square area within Block 35/3 of the Norwegian Sector. The purpose of the work was to establish a safe location for the installation of a semi submersible drilling rig. The contractor was Fugro AS and the project was conducted during April and May 2001.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist for a fibre optic cable route pre route survey, along the coast of Mozambique. The work involved the use of a small dedicated shallow water vessel, fitted with acoustic under water devices to determine the prevailing seabed and sub sea bed conditions along five beach landing approaches for the cable. Some land survey and geotechnical appraisal was performed. The project was carried out on behalf of GeoLab Ltd, for ALCATEL, during November and December 2000.
Senior Geophysicist on board DSV Bergen Viking on behalf of Fugro UDI Aberdeen Scotland, for Mohn Drilling and ultimately for ENITEL. The project was a pre route acoustic survey using side scan sonar, sub bottom profiler, swathe bathymetry and magnetometer prior to the installation of a fibre optic communications cable between four offshore installations in the Norwegian Sector. On board interpretation of the data was performed, in order to establish CPT positions for geotechnical investigations and route planning. ROV work within the 500 metre exclusion zones and sonar contact investigations, together with swathe bathymetry were requisite to the survey. The cable was to be buried to a depth of one metre so soil conditions along the proposed route had to be determined to a high accuracy. The survey was conducted during August and September 2000.
Survey QC Representative (Seismic, and Processing) onboard the MV GECO Searcher. The project was a six streamer, dual source, 3D marine acquisition exploration survey offshore Barbados, on behalf of Conoco. The project was conducted during June and July 2000.
Survey QC Representative (Seismic, and Processing) on board the Ramform Victory. The project comprised eight streamers, dual source, 3D marine acquisition survey in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil, on behalf of Kerr McGee. Involvement in this project was during May and June 2000.
Processing and interpretation Geophysicist on board the M/V Argonaut. The project was a pipe pre-route survey involving the use of a full analogue acquisition suite plus geotechnical coring and sample analysis off the Mediterranean coast of Egypt. The project was conducted for Gupco between April and May 2000.
Interpretation Geophysicist on board the M/V Bligh. The project was a cable pre-route survey involving geotechnical coring and analysis and use of magnetometer between Cornwall, England and Wexford, Eire. The project was conducted for Global Marine between December and January 2000.
Processing and interpretation Geophysicist on board the M/V Geograph. The project was a cable route survey utilising a full analogue acquisition suite together with geotechnical coring and sample analysis in the Skaggerak, between Denmark and Norway. The project was conducted for Telenor between November and December 1999.
Processing Geophysicist on an ROV pipeline inspection survey on the M/V GeoBay in the Norwegian Sector of the North Sea on behalf of Norsk Hydro. The project was conducted in November 1999.
Project Geophysicist onboard the M/V Subsea 2000. The project was to determine the areal extent of the debris field associated with the identification of the fuselage of a downed Jaguar fighter jet aeroplane. The project took place in the Moray Firth, Scotland on behalf of the MOD in October 1999.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist on an ROV Pipeline Inspection and Acoustic Survey on board the M/V GeoBay. The project was to establish the overall integrity of production pipelines with respect to potential or existing free spans, cathodic potential voltages and debris. The project took place during September 1999 in the Norwegian Sector of the North Sea on behalf of Statoil.
Navigation QC Representative on board M/V Akedemik Nemchinov The project used four streamers, dual source, 3D marine acquisition survey in the Bay of Biscay offshore Spain, on behalf of Repsol. The project was conducted between July and August 1998.
Data Processing QC Representative on board M/V Geco Longva. The project was four-streamer dual source 3D Seismic Shoot in the San Jorge Basin, offshore Argentina, conducted on behalf of Unocal, during April and May 1998.
Acquisition Geophysicist onboard M/V Dana. The survey entailed the sonar inspection of the existing in field pipelines, which is conducted on an annual basis, to determine the integrity of the flow lines with respect to free spanning and potential hazards. The survey took place in the Danish Sector of the North Sea on behalf of Maersk between March and April 1998
Acquisition and Interpretation Geophysicist on board the M/V Seaway Surveyor. The period covered the As laid ROV inspection and sonar survey of the NORFRA pipeline between Norway and France, in the North Sea, on behalf of Statoil between April - Dec 1997

Interpretation Geophysicist on board M/V Espoir. The survey involved sonar inspection, using ROTV, to establish the integrity of existing pipelines with respect to free spanning, cathodic protection and debris. This was the Annual Pipeline Inspection conducted on behalf of BP, for the entire network of production lines in the North Sea. The survey was carried out during March and April 1997.
Survey QC Representative on board the Midnight Gambler. The project was a 3D seismic survey, performed in shallow water in Chandelier Sound, Gulf of Mexico, using OBC transition zone techniques. The survey was carried out during August and September 1996, on behalf of Texas Meridian.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist The survey entailed the acquisition of single channel analogue shallow profiling data, prior to the installation of a pipeline, in the Persian Gulf, on behalf of INOC during July 1996.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist on board M/V Master Surveyor. The project employed acoustic, shallow seismic and geotechnical techniques to establish a route for a proposed pipeline between Norway and Germany. The survey was carried out between January and June 1996 on behalf of Statoil.
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist on board M/V Geograph. The project involved the acquisition and interpretation of data acquired a full analogue spread and the correlation of geotechnical soil sampling to the seismic. The survey was performed between Norway and France, during September and December 1995 on behalf of Statoil.
Acquisition QC for a 2D multi channel digital hazard site survey in Block 206/4 on the UKCS on board M/V GeoSurveyor. The project was conducted during June and July 1995, on behalf of Shell UK. Geotechnical analysis was performed on board.
Acquisition QC Geophysicist on board M/V GeoScanner. An analogue regional survey to the West of Shetlands was carried out on behalf of BP during May and June 1995. Analysis of gravity cores was conducted on board
Acquisition QC and Interpretation Geophysicist on board M/V Fox. The project was a full analogue data acquisition survey for a proposed pipe route in the Hunter Field on the UKCS for TOTAL, during April and May 1995. Geotechnical coring and analysis was conducted on board.

Assetline Limited was formed to encompass the evolving requirements of the offshore industry with respect to the supply of consultants on a contractual basis. As the Principal within the organisation the responsibilities of ensuring that the clientele were being provided with the requisite level of support were paramount. In addition, fiscal and operational considerations were an integral part of the corporate ethos.

Joined Geophysical Service Incorporated as a graduate to work in the field and in the data processing centre, as a Seismologist based in Dhahran, SA. Experience was gained using dynamite as a seismic source in the exploration task, in the Rub Al Khali Desert and for use in acquisition of refraction data. Velocity modelling of the near surface and the interpretation of up-hole well data were the principle duties in the field. Before leaving GSI, I was appointed as the synthetic group Co-ordinator, in which geological and lithological data were used to aid interpretation of the processed sections.
