PERMIT-TO-WORK COORDINATOR (For Power & Utility)
• As the Unit has been turned over from Project Construction to Operations, TCO Permit-to-work shall apply. As per Tengiz Chevron Oil (TCO) Standard Operating Procedures, PTW coordinator is responsible for making sure that each personnel wishing to perform work within Utility and Power area, applies the TCO Permit-to-work Policies and Procedures (in relation to the ROK regulations).
• Perform work permitting processes across multiple disciplines.
• Hands-on training with the Field & CCR Operators & Supervisors regarding Work Permits.

• Close monitoring and operation of Fuel Gas system. This system is the most critical item for the continuous operation of the entire plant.
• Operability review of all DCS graphics (ABB Tenore DCS system). Modify graphics as required in order for the operators to easily monitor and control process/utility operations.
• Punch killing (punch close-out) as required.
• Responsible for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of all gathering network (oil and gas wells) and the inlet reception facilities (inlet separators and oil/gas slug catchers).
• Responsible for the commissioning of the two (2) flare stacks and systems.

• Extensively involved in the safe Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of the Process and Non-process systems of the plant, specifically the Area 1/2/3, which comprises the Tank Farm (Ethylene storage tank with its’ Boil-Off-Gas (BOG) Compressor and Refrigeration Package, Butene spherical tank, Hexene and Pentane storage systems, Flare system and the Cold-vent systems); General Utilities which includes Two (2) Wet-back type Steam/Power Generating Equipments; Feed Purification Unit which includes several reactors/ dryers lined-up in series so as to remove unnecessary impurities before feeding it to the main reactor; Catalyst Activation Unit with which the raw catalyst, usually inactivated Chromium (Cr+3), will be heated to a certain saturation temperature to activate it to Chromium (Cr+6). Activated Chromium (Cr+6) will be used during Polymerization Process; Polymerization Reactors Train-1 & 2; Extruder Units and Bagging Units.
• Involves in the company’s Overseas Training (PT PENI, Indonesia) for the efficient operation of a Desalination Plant (Reverse-Osmosis/Distillation Type), Jetty operations and Tankage systems.
• Handles DCS/Panel operations from time to time, specially the TPS/TDC3000 model by Honeywell.
• Performs normal and emergency controlled shutdown to minimize plant’s downtime and prevent company losses.
• As Acting Shift Supervisor, ensures the integrity of the plant by constantly monitoring issued Work Permits in the area of responsibilities. Also, ensures that the shift team has enough manpower to do the task in its’ safest manner (strictly following the Work Operating Instructions). Ensuring that activities for the day go on smoothly.
• Assist Process / Technical Support Engineers on their historical data collection to be used for their plant’s performance calculations.
• Participates in the drafting and revisions of the Works Operating Instructions (WOI) and the Works Standing Instructions (WSI) for the Operations Department.
• Involves in the Hazard Operability (HAZOP) stages review prioritizing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Member of the Shift’s Auxiliary Fire Brigade which is actively involved during the Safe Rescue and Transfer Operations in Emergency situations.
• As the Shift’s Certified First Aider, performs regular monitoring/ inspection of all first aid equipment on each shift to assure preparedness especially during emergencies. Performs first aid action as the need arises.
