I am looking for a senior environmental position in the upstream oil and gas exploration & production sector, and thought I'd drop you my CV and a quick introduction.

I have been working in environmental management since 1994, mostly in major upstream oil and gas development projects, and related engineering, construction and operations. An experienced generalist, my main areas of expertise include environmental management and assessment, management systems, waste management, compliance and audit, and contractor management. I hold a UK passport and a permanent residency visa. I am willing to relocate globally and am particularly interested in LNG projects.

Since December 2008 I’ve been the Environmental Engineering Lead for the Technical Directorate of NCOC (North Caspian Operating Company), the newly-formed operator for the North Caspian Sea joint venture in Kazakhstan. NCOC is a joint venture involving Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, Agip and ConocoPhillips. My work has included input to the conceptual studies phases of new field developments, including related EIA and permitting, plus support to projects already under execution (e.g. Kashagan). I have also been heavily involved in supporting the Corporate HSE team and the joint venture's HSE Steering Committee in the establishment of the new operating company's systems and documentation, in the enduring absence of a Head of Environment.
