Job description:

Job description: Monitoring and controlling for PDVSA-GAS, construction and installation of offshore gas pipeline (Margarita-Araya) on board of pipe lay barge Z&P440, in the following activities:
• Emit and receive of permit to work in hot and cold.
• Lifting and handling pipelines from the flat barge to lay barge.
• Incoming pipeline and consumables materials.
• Conditions of operations of machinery, tools and equipment (welding machines, tensioner, winches, hoisting equipment, hydraulic equipment, beveling machine, grinders).
• Pipeline welding process (bevel preparation, clamp placement and joint alignment, weld).
• Nondestructive testing (NDT).
• Installing Heat shrinkable sleeve on welded joint.
• Laying pipeline on seabed.
• Burial pipeline under seabed.
• Conditions of Safety, Hygiene & Environment in all the process.
• Daily monitoring of production (realized welds, accepted welds, rejected welds, repaired welds, weld rejection rate).

• General reparation on site to four gasoil storage tanks and design, construction and mounting of system of load and discharge, pertaining to company WANACA. Capacity: 80.000 liters per tank.
• Construction and installing on site of supporting structures of rotative machine for the newspaper PANORAMA. 50 tons structural steel A36 welded.
• General reparation on site at transmission shaft of three Clay Mills, pertaining to company CERAMICS FINAGRES”. Capacity: 80 tons per Mill.
• Construction and installing on site of dust recollection system for the sand processor company MAPLEXINCA”. 32 tons structural steel A36 welded.
• Design, construction and installing on site a Sand Rotary dryer, 100 inch diameter per 16 meter in length for the sand processor company MAPLEXINCA. 32 tons structural steel and alloys steel welded.
