Seeking a challenging position as an Oracle Apps DBA in an esteemed organization with good knowledge on Oracle EBS 11i/R12 and working experience on production and development environments, willing to make a significant contribution both as a team member and as an individual.

● Possess 4 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration area out of which 2 years of experience in the field of Oracle Application DBA (Oracle E-Business Suite -11i) and 2 years of experience in the field of Oracle DBA with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) administration over Linux, Solaris, and SAN (Storage Area Network).

● Worked as Oracle Applications DBA (Oracle E-Business Suite -11i) in Production Support with extensive understanding of the most recent software, Hardware and Network architectures, OS implementation details, Database systems, Software development tools and techniques.

● Worked as an Oracle RAC Database Administrator in Production support over SAN (Storage Area Network).

● Good Exposure in disaster recovery, routine maintenance for Oracle databases.
● Experienced of managing and administering 24 x 7 running databases.
● Maintain client relationships by providing timely, superior quality services, understanding client need opportunities and satisfaction criteria.


Responsibilities
• Handled certain sysadmin tasks, managed concurrent manager, application profiles and Flex fields and defined custom concurrent managers.
• Incorporated custom module and custom components (Forms, Reports).
• Applied various patches Oneoff, Mini, Family pack and other patches.
• Applied patches on production through stage to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshooted and documented patch issues.
• Cloned production instance for test, reporting and stage purpose.
• Migrated successfully from single-node to multi-node (three nodes) through rapid clone method.
• Implemented refresh of reporting instance with the production instance (dbTier).
• Developed, tested and implemented backups for EBS database using rman & EBS file systems through O/s scripts.
• Purging the frequently generated workflow data using concurrent request periodically.
• Troubleshooted EBS issues like db connectivity, user login issues, datafile corruption issues and Apache, Jserv, forms server related issues.
