I am currently looking for employment within the coatings industry. I have gained vast experience and have a wide knowledge of all aspects to do with corrosion control. On a personal level I am dedicated, loyal and relish a challenge feeling comfortable with my own ability I take all challenges with a head on frame of mind always taking time to assess whatever situation I come across. My experience within the industry of corrosion control and protective coatings began in surface preparation and as a coating applicator, before moving in to supervision and management.
During my time working as part of a leadership team, I have been involved in the successful completion of major projects on a worldwide basis. I have gained vast experience, knowledge and familiarity in the coating and corrosion control industry and man management, working with multinational personnel, including the supervision and organization of training for third country nationals.
The above has given me hands on experience which along with my technical skills enables me to achieve a high quality end result for the client. I am well travelled having worked on construction, marine, naval, pipeline, petrochemical and oil and gas projects both on and offshore throughout the world. My previous employers note me as being trustworthy loyal and diligent.
Documentation is a telling factor on all major projects and I have dealt with it in all forms, from planning, quotation, estimating and cost management through to project execution, health and safety and Quality Assurance that exist both on and offshore.
While being involved in the QA side of the industry, a major part of the process is the identification of corrosion and its various stages and measures of repair, protection and replacement.
Being involved in various projects I have encountered a wide range of products including fire protective coatings and 100% solid, rapid cure polymer based materials which require heat induction, epoxy, polyurethane and various deck and tank lining systems.
I have substantial technical knowledge of surface preparation and coating application equipment, having being involved in the design and build of purpose built plural component application units for marine projects which resulted in positive impact for anti-abrasive coatings.
I am computer literate, being competent in the use of Microsoft Office and trained to a basic standard in Health and Safety, also holding various certifications including valid medical and offshore safety training, ISSOW and IRATA Level 1 plus various others.
