• Performed intricate technical analyses and formalized thorough technical designs for a challenging deep HPHT sour gas well for Qatar Gas. Projected simulations for various scenarios and cases for the fishing, milling, and washing of a HAL-MONOLOCK* plug under high BHP. Recommended several key QHSE standards and implementations in order to ensure proper rig-up, pressure testing procedures, and a safe operation especially considering the worst case scenarios and contingency plans.

• Managed, designed, coordinated, and controlled an 8 week offshore well services project for OXY Qatar on the Kikuyu barge. Thorough and comprehensive project management, client, and operations support was provided while being on call 24/7. The campaign involved highly challenging well trajectories including extended large bore horizontal multi-laterals. Researched and authored a comprehensive case study in order to extend reach in the horizontals utilising the AGITATOR* tool and maximize conveyance.

• Well services included coordinating with various third parties in order to organize and mobilize the correct tools, equipment, personnel, chemicals, etc. and ensuring proper QHSE standards. The projects encompassed well treatments such as filter cake removal with the SEEKER* tool, milling of Strontium Sulfate scale using a PDC bit, locating multi-laterals with efficiency and cost effectiveness using MPT, and CT E-LINE Perforating through pressure deployment techniques and multiple gun runs.

• Recommended and implemented various operational, procedural, QHSE techniques and methodologies in order to promote safety, quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and cost reduction. Also, recommended ETA 28 with a mutual solvent solution in order to optimize the removal of drilling mud filter cake and boost oil production through the reduction of near wellbore pressure drop.

• Designed and performed several case studies and scenarios for the drilling department in order to predict and recommend optimal drilling depth in the horizontal sections. Recommended optimal open hole sizes, well trajectories and the lengths of the laterals in order to optimize and achieve maximum production levels. The key factor of achieving the correct balance between saving drilling rig costs while achieving optimal drilling depth for net pay was attained.

• Successfully managed a CT runaway situation offshore. Coordinated with offshore crews and operations to determine and arrange critical mechanical parts and specialized personnel in order to make quick repairs to the damaged equipment. The equipment was repaired and operations were resumed in less than 24 hours since the beginning of the problem. Collected all relevant data from the incident and performed an in-depth Root Cause Analysis on the incident. Authored and submitted a comprehensive report for corrective, preventative, and improvement procedures based on API, ASME, and ISO standards with strict focus on QHSE.

• Designed and field coordinated a multi-well sandstone acidizing operation for the Kuwait Oil Company in the Rawdathain field. Halliburton's exclusive PAD and K-Spar acidizing technology was utilized. The project was considered a success by the client. Repeat business was acquired.

• Conducted comprehensive technical studies, feasibility, well planning, and project management for a multi-well CT Drilling Extended Reach operation for the Kuwait Oil Company.

• Designed and field coordinated various carbonate high rate acidizing operations using emulsified acid and Halliburton's ETA-28 and Zonal Coverage acid. The treatments resulted in 30 % - 50% increase in comparative production for the Kuwait Oil Company. Evaluated, recommended and implemented improvements in acid and diverter pumping schedules for future treatments in order to further enhance production.

• Recommended the use of a High Velocity Multi-Ported Rotary Jetting Tool for the stimulation of a freshly drilled horizontal open hole Slave Point Oil Carbonate Reservoir for Arc Resources. The stimulation treatment produced beyond expected results for the client and generated $ 170,000 in revenue for Sanjel. Verbal commendation from the client and repeat business from Arc Resources was established for more stimulation treatments.

• Successfully simulated the use of the Agitator Tool* using Cerberus 8.0 by manipulating friction co-efficients in the open hole section for extended reach for a foamed cleanout treatment for Petro Hunt.

• Successfully designed two critical Coiled Tubing Underbalanced Vertical Extensions in gas wells with high T.V.D. and low reservoir pressures for the Pengrowth Corporation and Paramount Energy. The jobs were considered a complete success by the clients.

• Designed and authored various technical procedures for Matrix Acidizing treatments for Encana, Kereco Energy, and Pienza Petroleum.

• Investigated the root causes for numerous coiled tubing failures using Orion 8.0 and recommended the use of a chemical injection window for the external coating of the pipe. The method was implemented for high percentage H2S wells and on jobs where flow back of high PH acid with the coiled tubing in the well was expected.

• Assisted junior engineers with various technical designs and programs. Created and standardized template formats which included direct incorporation of technical graphs from Cerberus 8.0 and stage table charts.

• Worked in close conjunction with sales to collect all the necessary information and data for each project in order to deliver quality technically sound designs and programs to the clients. The project earned more than $1.3 MM dollars for SLB and was considered a complete success by Murphy Oil. The well’s production improved from 0 MMCFD to 15 MMCFD after the treatment.

• Recommended by Callon Petroleum for the “Performed by Schlumberger “ program for designing, planning, and co-ordinating a coiled tubing matrix stimulation treatment which added great profit and unique value to the client’s business. Schlumberger’s exclusive Jet Blaster* technology was utilized.

• Attended basic and advanced sales training and effective negotiation skills schools. Part of a four person team which placed first in the Advanced Sales Training Course.
