I am very conversant with the Auto CAD package from version 12 and all versions up to Auto CAD 2010 MEP, as I've been using it consistently for many years now, learning all of its many versions & transitions. I am also good with Microsoft Office 2007 suite, MS Server from version 2003 & used 2007, also I have been competent with windows to version Windows 7, I have been familiar with the Cad Duct package and Autodesk’s Navisworks Manage for 3D utilisation & clash detect of models, layouts and schemes within projects.
I have also recently worked on a project for the London Underground coordinating surveys, for their asset listing of their machine chambers for the London Underground escalator machine rooms covering various underground train stations; this was conducted for them to plan the costing of refurbishments and updates of their existing equipment. I had to record all the electrical items that were currently in use, the mechanical assets, also we had to do conditional surveys of the civil side of the stations and then submit drawings of these items for various renewals. While here I had to utilise Bentley's Microstation version 8i.
I specialise mainly in the mechanical & electrical side of the design for a construction or development of projects, though I have in the past had to diversify to other design methods for corresponding services when and where needed. I have been involved with the design or layout of draughting of civil or constructional supports, like the steelwork to frame a building, or even detail design of components to highlight changes or amendments, or I have had to design other services like highways, signage, manufacturing and development drawings or whatever your client dictates.
I am conversant with most building and constructional disciplines, design of modularisation & unit construction methods, some structural & prefabrication practices. I have even knowledge in renewable energy systems such as ground source heat pumps, ground heat loops & energy piles etc.
I have been a cad supervisor of 6 staff, overseeing drawings from tender stage to completion “As Built” stage.
