I am seeking an international position, preferably on a rotating schedule. I am at entry level of oilfield experience but have 23 years experience as Logistics/Warehouse Manager. I am an innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to improve production and decrease down time. I am very adaptable to changing projects and work schedules and have a proven ability to quickly train on different facilities.

In addition, I have excellent planning and organizational skills as well as excellent rapport with supervisors and co-workers. You will find I work well under pressure, am an effective problem solver and a conscientious and reliable worker.

III CONTINENTAL MECO: 24 March 2003 to 31 December 2008 (Production Scheduler)

1. Scheduling:
• Creates and maintains a valid master Schedule for made to stock products and made to order products and manages Plant capacity to ensure schedules are compatible by evaluating capacities and constraints.
• Identifies step changes and bottlenecks in plants demonstrated capacity and develops proposals to optimize operations, reduce lead-times and work in progress.
• Demand management – unforecasted, late and crisis orders, and is accountable for determining short-term changes to plans ensuring total resource capability to support the change.
• Monitors Plant performance with respect to the Plan.
• Pro-active involvement in plant and development projects to ensure resources will be available.
• Meets Production Management formally weekly to discuss short-term plans and contribute to the broader issues of quality, productivity and cost management.

2. Logistics:
• Contributes to “supply chain logistics” output by means of input to MRP and evaluation of constraints by maintaining a close working relationship with suppliers where applicable, to ensure Raw Material and semi-product availability.
• Accountable for finished product stock volumes and Stock Policy.
• Liaises directly with the Project/Sales Engineers on availability of capacity to meet made to order product requirements and forecasted demand.
• Accountable for ensuring plans and order completion accuracy both physically and system wise are such to meet 100% OTIF requirements.
• Input of financial dimension to production schedule to aid Business Team decisions.
• Proactive involvement in plant and development projects to avoid implementation issues and crisis management.
• Evaluate capacities, identify step changes and bottlenecks and develop proposals to optimize operations.

3. Section Planning:
• Converts the production Schedule into specific achievable daily or weekly Work Orders compatible with the need for final and semi products required to support made to order orders scheduled for the period concerned – all following discussion with the Plant Managers, as appropriate, thereby optimizing production run capabilities and reducing waste.
• Accountable for the prioritization of Work Orders on the Plant(s) in order to meet specific demands (e.g. specific Customer Order or Inter Site Transfers), where necessary and as appropriate.
• Ensure BOM accuracy.

4. System Efficiency:
• Assist in defining and setting policies.
• Develops and sustains a culture of non crisis management.
• Maintains and runs supportive PC spreadsheets (e.g. daily production returns on weekly Planning sheet, Made to Order spreadsheets).

5. Management and Relationships:
• Develops strong cross functional relationships.
• Develop and mentor all direct reports while focusing on the leadership thematic with specific focus on core and growth issues.
• Develop proactive and innovative culture.

6. Warehousing:
6.1 Liaise with Planning Manager with regard to:
• Daily purchases for production
• Minimum and maximum levels in factory
• Stock levels in warehouse
• Production plan for week
• Budget
• Forecasts to suppliers
6.2 Liaise with suppliers with regard to:
• Newly placed orders
• Outstanding orders
• Delivery dates
• Minimum levels at suppliers
• Accounts
• Negotiate purchase prices
6.3 Stock counts
6.4 Daily counts on critical items

• Determine the loads
