1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

B.Tech in chemical (A Four year degree course) with over 8+ year rich experience in process engineering, commissioning and operation in oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Currently working as Process Engineer for M/S Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG, one of the worlds leading Oil & Gas EPC MNC Company with billions of dollars worth of ongoing projects, I am responsible for carrying out front End design and detailed engineering work for large and medium sized projects.
Member of Indian institute of chemical engineers.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

AREAS OF EXPOSURE & EXPERTISE:

My day to day duties are included (but not limited to): -
 Preparation and review key process deliverables for projects, including Process Design Basis(PDB), hydraulics report(HR), safeguarding memorandum(SM), operating and control philosophy(O&CP), Design review/Hazop review/closeout reports(DR&HAR), site visit report(SVR), Simulation Report & Heat and Material Balance Depressurization Report , Equipment List and Relief valve schedule, Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) , other critical calculations, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs or PFS ), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs or UEFS ), process engineering flow scheme (PEFS or P&IDs), and process safeguarding flow scheme (PSFS or PSD), Hazardous area classification diagrams (HACD),Process Safety Diagrams, Tie-in and shutdown philosophies, Pressure and Temperature Diagrams (PTDs).
 Review of cause and effect diagram and plot plan in line with the safety standard.
 Preparation of line list, relief valve schedule, critical valve and Equipment list.
 Preparation and review key process data sheets for projects, including relief valve, control valve, pressure equipment, tanks, Pump, choke valve, heat exchanger and flow meters data sheets.
 Sizing of process equipments like bulk separator, test separator, surge tanks and heat exchangers.
 Participate in design /Hazop /IPF reviews as secretary and Sr. Process Engineer.
 Detail engineering of different types of well hook up scheme and its associated control systems for Gas lifted, ESP lifted, ,Free flowing, Gas injection, steam injection, high pressure gas wells , water supply ,water injection well and water disposal wells .
 Participate in the FEED verification team.
 Application of simulators like, HYSIS/UNISIM 390, PIPESIM-2007, Instu. Cal, Natasha +, pipe studio (TLNET &TGNET) and Auto Cad.
 Hydraulic calculations for well networks, pipe lines, Pumps circuits and Gravity circuits for two phase and single phase flow.
 Ensure the required levels of Quality Assurance are achieved and maintained based on international and/or client standards.
 Interface with/provide clarification, guidance and technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers as and when required.
 Co-ordination with other associated disciplines for the successful completion of the project.
 Well aware with Shell (DEPs, SPs. ERDS, GS, EP and GU), API and ASME standards.
 Well aware with equation of states and thermodynamic properties.

Major Projects under taken:-
Petroleum development of Oman
Some of the projects which I did with PDO are as follows-
 Lekhwair UFUQ facility development-Worked as a Sr. Process Engineer for FED and detail design.
Project background- Project back ground- The scope of UFUQ facility development includes building a totally independent remote station with the following equipments-
 4 x MSVs, 1 x test separator to cater for UFUQ wells testing , Relief valve pit of 75 m capacity for bulk fluid with vent stack, , 1 x 11,000 m/d bulk separators, 1 x 12 9.0 km, 300# gross export GRE pipeline from UFUQ remote station to Lekhwair production station, 1 x 12 12 km, 900# water injection pipeline from Dhulima pipeline to UFUQ remote station , water injection manifold with well fracture control, , 1 x Instrument air package
 New control room and related Instrumentation facilities (Foundation Fieldbus-based control system / IPS)
 Tie-in of the new separator outlet gas header to the suction of the existing Gas compressor .
Achievements Complete the project in time.
 Standardization of kits for north Oman for ODC contract 2010'' project- Worked as a Sr. Process Engineer for FED and detail design.
Project background- Preparation of standard kits with associated control for different types of well like Gas lifted, ESP lifted, ,Free flowing, Gas injection, steam injection, high pressure gas wells , water supply ,water injection well and water disposal wells.
Achievements Reduced the standard kits from No.40 to No.20 by rationalizing the safeguarding, rating of pipe.
 Marmul A station expansion project-Worked as a Design Coordinator
Project back ground- The scope of MM-A includes building a totally independent new station with the following equipments-
 8 x MSVs, 3 x 500 m/d well test de-sanders, 3 x MFM to cater for HW wells testing , Relief valve pit of 325 m capacity for water, 1 x 10,000 m/d bulk de-sander, 2 x 15,000 m/d separators, 3 x 15,000 m/d export pumps , 1 x 7,500 m buffer/surge tank, 1 x 230,000 Sm/d LP KO drum, 1 x 230,000 Sm/d LP flare unit, 1 x 70,000 Sm/d AP flare unit, 1 x 18 9.0 km, 300# gross export pipeline from MM-A to MMPS, 1 x 10 9.0 km, 150# gas export pipeline from MM-A to MMPS, 1 x launcher and receiver for 18 gross pipeline, 1 x launcher and receiver for 10 gas pipeline, 1 x Drain Vessel with two pumps, 1 x Instrument air package.
 New control room and related Instrumentation facilities (Foundation Fieldbus-based control system / IPS)
 Tie-in of the new separator outlet gas header to the suction of the existing Gas compressor .
 Al-Ghubar facility development- Worked as a Sr. Process Engineer for FED and detail design
Project back ground- The scope of project includes building three PCP wells hook-up, flow lines and remote manifold and 6'' 7 Km trunk line. The facility is designed for high risk sour service as H2S ppm is 1600 ppm.
 Shibka Facility development- Worked as a Sr. Process Engineer for FED and detail design
Project back ground- The scope of project includes building three gas lift wells hook-up with gas break through control, flow lines and remote manifold and 6'' 5 Km trunk line.
 North pipe line replacement project Yibal and Lekhwair
 Proposed 2009 HP Gas wells
 Proposed 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 well hook-us and flow lines for off plot delivery contract.
 Medium size projects which comes under ODC north Oman like MSV extension, water injection and bulk manifold extension and line replacements.


India experience: - 4+ year
4+ years in India: As Process Engineer with JK synthetics ltd , Haryana petrochemical ltd and Jindal polyester ltd, Leading Groups involved in business of Petrochemicals and textile area.

1-Compenay: - M/S JK synthetics Ltd (Take over by Arafat petrochemical Pvt. Ltd).
An integrated acrylic fiber & petrochemical Complex having acrylic fiber plant capacity of 55 Ton/day. The unit is based on Technology of M/s Technimiont, Italy.
Position-Process Engineer
Duration-From March-05 to February 07
Project:-Expansion of acrylic plant Kota to enhance capacity from 55 Ton/day to 65 Ton/day.

Job Responsibilities:
Preparation and review key process deliverables for projects like PFDs, P&IDs, UEFS, PSFS and cause and effect diagram.
Adequacy check of existing equipments, piping, heat exchangers, silos, tanks, rector in line with reaction time and desired conversion in line with enhanced capacity.
Optimization of steam consumption in distillation column and dryer without compromising the quality of the finial product.
Adequacy check of existing relief valves in line with enhanced capacity.
Adequacy check of pumps in the view of NPSHR, discharge pressure and efficiency of the pump.
Preparing and implementing check list of pre-commissioning activities like calibration of tanks and silos, hydraulic and pneumatic testing of the lines in line with the test pressures, calibration of instruments, control loop checking with DCS, leak test in line at the test pressure as per .
Preparing and implementing optimized plant start up / shut down schedule for smooth startup/shut down of the plant in the coordination of the utility and service departments.
Preparation and reviewing the formulations of feed in line with standard requirement, different productions and different desired property of the final product.
Updating and review of plant operating manual and specification of existing equipments.
Performing heat and material balance to check the deviation from the ideal condition. If deviation is more than the accepted limit then checking and preventing of the losses to get the cost effective product.
Initiation and participation of the Accident investigation reviews.
Explore the possibility to reduce the cost of finial products with cost effective modification.
Commissioned multi effect distillation recovery unit, stripping distillation column, mixed flow reactor, rotary drum filter and 20 zone steam dryer.
Preparing action plans for the smooth, safe and fast pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the units.
2-Compnay:-M/S Haryana petrochemical Ltd (Take over by Arafat petrochemical ltd).
Polyester fiber plant has capacity 55 Ton/day. Unit is based on Technology of M/s Inventa Italy

Duration:-From July 03 to March 05

Project: Enhancement of production from 45 ton/day to 75 ton/day

Position: Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Enhance existing capacity of units.
Pumps, Motors and impeller changed as per required enhanced capacity.
Line sizes and nozzle size increased as per requirements.
Preparing action plans for the smooth, safe and fast pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the units.
Participated in the Accident investigation team.
Trouble shooting in steam ejector Vacuum system, Vacuum pump, Distillation column, Reactor, Centrifuge, Cyclone separator, Dries mill, Heat exchanger, Condenser, Evaporator, Dryer.
Handled production unit and Methanol-Ethylene Glycol recovery unit of chemical section.
Experience of panel operation (DCS) μXL Yokogawha, DCS Taylor & Free lances 2000 ABB.
Production of Specially Polestar chips such as DMTSD, DMTSB, DMTSB Cationic, DMTSD Cationic, and PTASD & PTASB
