I'd describe myself as a geoscientist with an MSc in ‘Structural Geology with Geophysics’ and 4 years prior experience in the Oilfield services sector (wellsite logging geology). I am currently looking out for a place that gives me an opportunity to utilize my previously acquired skills and experience while developing my more recently acquired skills in the field of petrophysics/ geophysics which should allow me upward mobility as a wellsite/ operations geologist
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Mudlogger on Mudlogging services contracts for OILEX NL, Cairn Energy & Reliance Energy. Also for RasGas (Qatar), Total E & P (Qatar), Dolphin Energy (Qatar), Hydro Zagros (Iran), Cairn Energy (India), Total Yemen (Yemen).
§ Primarily responsible for constructing Geological-section logs (Mudlog & composite logs) based on the examination of drilled-returns samples, closely correlated with MWD, LWD, Drilling parameters, gas data, QFT, shale factor and shale density analysis.
§ Calculated drill returns lag time, Kill-sheet variables and formation fracturation pressures ( from LOT data).
§ Interpreted real time and wireline Gamma ray, Resistivity, Neutron porosity and Bulk Density Logs for preparing Geological-section logs and Lithological summaries.§ Experience liasing with operator representatives.
