I would like to seek employment with your company should there be any open vacancies in your offices in Libya or in any other company location.

I am enclosing a detailed “ Resume” of my education and work experience for your references. I am presently employed in Tripoli (Libya) as an Operations & Logistics Manager handling administrative duties with a “Consultancy” company and possess a Libyan Residence Visa as well as a valid Libyan driving license. I am employed on a rotational schedule basis and also have many years of experience in the administrative sector with other Oil & Gas companies in Libya.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Work Experience:

Craddock Engineering Inc. – Sept. 2003 till present time.
Position : Operations & Logistics Manager ( Tripoli office – Libya ).

Craddock Engineering Inc. is a Consultancy Service Company sourcing and providing the best possible specialized consultants to well established companies in Libya.
My duties are mainly administrative ones:
- Handling consultant passports and organization of visas.
- Preparation of consultants desert passes for desert locations.
- Preparation of consultants aviation manifests for desert locations.
- Handling consultants travel requests and prepare travel arrangements/
ticket reservations/issuance. Monitoring/recording ticket costs.
- Managing company purchases for all company premises.
- Managing all maintenance / repair work required for company premises.
- Managing and organizing transport service for all our consultants.
- Handling and preparing company invoices according to our consultant’s
monthly Time Sheets to be distributed to our Clients/Financial Controllers.
- Perform some accounting duties.
- Maintain accurate and complete personnel records both manually (personnel files), electronically on the HR Database, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and data quality integrity is maintained.
- Preparation of new personnel files and upgrading of existing files and general files tasks complying with HR Best Practice and Data Protection requirements.

Other duties mainly maintaining accurate personnel rotation schedules / up keeping records on information boards / information cards indicating day to day movements of consultants / up keeping computer data and assisting our General and Assistant General Manager with their workload whenever necessary.


Alberta Fire & Security Co. Ltd. -- Feb. 1997 to Aug. 2003
Position : Stores / Administration Manager ( based in Malta ).

Alberta deals with Fire, Safety and Security systems, CCTV equipment, lightning protection, fire doors, fire extinguishers, excess control systems, etc.
My duties were mainly :
- Reorganization of all existing stores as regards.designing of stores layout,
documents, item cost, formalities, etc.
- Project job costing evaluating labor hours, local purchases incurred and
stock issued
for every project assigned. Analysing profit or loss from projects.
- Monitoring / handling all company/projects purchases.
- Monitoring / handling all deliveries to clients / customers.

- Handling / preparing of stock to staff / contractors.
- Handling / organization of stock for export, mainly to Libya.
- Communication / organization with haulers regarding company imports and
exports.
- Accurate and daily updating of stock records / prices.
- Administrative duties such as recording staff leave/sick leave, staff uniforms
/ tools / equipment, organizing company logos on company vehicles,
monitoring service and maintenance of company vehicles, etc.


Brand International Ltd. (Playmobil) – Oct. 1989 to Dec. 1996
Position : Head of Section in Export Store ( based in Malta ).

Brand International Ltd. is a well-known company worldwide manufacturing in the toy industry.

- Reorganization of the Export Store re. stores layout, documents, equipment & staff.
- Supervision of 12 employees plus training them for the new ISO9000 programme.
- Preparation of documents / stock for export in trailers / containers.
- Regular cycle counts of stock.
- Communication with top management re. forecasts / production planning.


ST Microelectronics – Dec. 1987 to Oct. 1989
Position : Supervisor Quality Control Incoming Section ( based in Malta ).

ST Microelectronics, known worldwide, manufactures in the electronic industry.
- Supervision of 8 employees.
- Testing, analyzing and recording all raw material imported for the company.
- Preparation of statistical data and reports for my superiors.


KCA Drilling of Libya -- Sept. 1985 to Nov. 1987
Position : Administration Coordinator ( Tripoli office – Libya ).

Actually temporarily employed for four months but due to my capabilities my employment term was extended further on. During this short term I was requested to take over administrative functions in the company such as organization of personnel work / field break schedules, control of passports / visas, personnel airline / ticket reservations, flight manifests, etc. KCA had a work force of just over 150 employees.


Dowell Schlumberger -- Aug. 1980 to Aug. 1985
Position : Operations Coordinator ( Tripoli office – Libya ).

My general responsibilities in this overseas post for Dowell Schulmberger, which was a Cementing company in the Libyan petroleum fields, covered the operations and co-ordination from Tripoli office to the six camps spread in the Libyan desert.

Having a multinational workforce of over 250 personnel, my position was to tackle all employee problems, supply and maintain all necessary items and equipment, prepare work/rotation schedules, full utilization of service orders supplying related, qualified personnel and the necessary equipment.

Securing work visas, desert passes and following these to ensure that all legalities conform to the local laws for employees was also part of my duties. Coupled with this I had to prepare all the relevant work schedules carrying out airline reservations and securing tickets on time for our personnel.

The safe keeping of all passports was entrusted in my hands, handing these to the PR department whenever visas were up for renewal or exit/re-entry visas were required.

Another duty was co-ordinating with our Malta, UK and French offices in respect of specialized personnel recruitment, supply of airline tickets, essential supplies, equipment, materials and all items required to keep the company operating successfully.

“Effective Leadership” / “Communications” / “Who is the Client”. All courses relating to Managerial & Employee behavior and relationship studies were organized by MISCO, a well known Managerial and Consultancy agency in Malta.
