I'm a young ship's engineer with interests in many other subjects reaching far and wide. I have a strong curiosity and a need to know how things work and how I can make them better. Electronics, research, metal fabrication, welding, wood working, gardening and cooking are some of my interests.

I have a strong sense of loyalty for the organisations I work for and I like to see a job through until the end; I don't mind putting in the long hours when the need arises. I'm not afraid of undertaking new tasks and challenges, I see them as an opportunity to learn new tricks that increase my knowledge base and skill set.

I want to find an environment where my skills can be challenged and where I can learn from more experienced people. I eventually want to move into more of a design, project or operation management role where I could use my acquired skills and experiences to push forward and innovate.
