I work as a technical equipment specialist within offshore drilling. My present position is Project Leader for a major oil & gas operator, Statoil, and I have a total of 14 years experience from oil & gas industry.
I am daily managing the drilling contractor technical deliveries on behalf of Statoil for one drilling facility, where I also have the system integrity responsibility. I regard my self as an expert on Drilling Topside control systems and general operation and maintenance of such. I also have several years of experience in general operation and maintenance of Drilling Topside equipment including surface BOPs.
Previously I have worked for major EPC contractors and Drilling contractors where I have gained multidiscipline knowledge of instrument & control system engineering, commissioning and maintenance of drilling equipment.
