I began my working life in the building industry and served my time as an electrician. I have now been working offshore for 4 years in the North Sea sector and spent 6 months working on the North West shelf of Australia whilst there on a working holiday. I am hard working, reliable and keen to learn new skills. I can work un-supervised or as part of a team. I always keep a cool head while working under pressure,. I have experience on a lot of different rigs with an excellent safety record and participation on all safety programs.

Cluad Hamilton Electrical Service Sept 99 – Nov06 Electrician
Duties: Install all containment in new installations using plastic and metal conduit, Trunking, Tray, Basket and Ladder rack.
Install all cables required for installation using all sizes off twin and earth, Micc, Singles, Steel and braided armor, FP200 and cat5.
Install and terminate data cables for phones and computers.
Install all fittings needed. E.G Light fittings, 3 Phase and single phase sockets, Phone points, Heaters, motors etc
Testing and commissioning of the installations using meggers and digital multi-meters.
Maintain installation for first year.
Brandt NOV Nov 06 – Jan 09 (Electrical service engineer)
Offshore Duties: Install, Commission, Operate and repair all equipment needed for solids control and pit cleaning operations.
While working here I have gained excellent knowledge working with AC and some DC motors. I have worked with Inverters panels, All types of switch gear, Transformers, Electrical panels, Mud pumps, Cutting Re-Injection packages, Vacuum Units, Augurs, Compressors, Free flow systems, Centrifuges and many types of mud shakers. While at Brandt I had to work a lot in potentially explosive atomspheres and gathered excellent knowledge of Exe, Exd equipment and glands including barrier glands.
