Please find attached my CV for your further consideration and reference. I was attached to PETRONAS Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd before as an Operation Engineer. I have more than 5 years background experiences in the Oil and Gas. My biggest achievement so far is taking the lead on a few key activities in the recent most complex and biggest Refinery Revamp and debottlenecking project in Asia.
It was a truly great experience, in which my involvement was from Detailed Design to Commissioning phase and has handled a multiple disciplinary engineering tasks. I completed my undergraduate course in University Of Technology PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia majoring in Chemical Engineering (Petroleum) in May 2003. I would be happy to present myself for an interview at your convenience.
You may notice from my CV that I have taken courses, which specifically relates to the job that I am applying. I also did my industrial training in MTBE/Polypropylene Petronas Malaysia Sdn. Bhd for 11 months attached to the Process Engineering Department. I assure you; such valuable exposures have provided me the confidence in carrying out the post. In addition it has also provided me with sound background knowledge of working environment and the requirement working in a busy atmosphere such as yours. I have stayed and traveled abroad, has helped me to improve my general communication and social interaction with people from different cultures.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
a) Posted as Operation Engineer of Hydrocracker Unit (HCK) which consists of Hydrogen Processing Unit (HPU1&HPU2) and Hydrogen Collecting & Distribution System (HCDS) in PETRONAS Second Refinery (PSR-2) Melaka. All major products are Naphtha, Jet Fuel A1 (Kerosene), Premium Diesel and Heavy Diesel. Those units stated above operated under very high pressure and high temperature.
b) Monitoring plant performance and optimizing process parameter which are running far above design capacity in order to ensure unit margin can be maximized. Performs mass & energy balance calculations and provide daily instruction for day to day operation to ensure unit parameter is always updated and any changes being communicated. Process troubleshooting to ensure plant stability and optimization for product yield distribution by manipulating draw off products and equipment utilization also developing critical operating parameter which being used to keep track of every activities in running plant.
c) Analyzing and enhancing equipment reliability and stability. Acting as area planner to arrange and schedule for any maintenance and services activity such as modification of piping or equipments through Process Safety Management (PSM) documentation in order to prolong their lifespan. Be in this position, gradually improving knowledge in various disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Inspection Engineering and Civil Engineering.
d) Participating in plant shutdown and startup. Take lead in some activity in Refinery Turn Around and Retrofit/Revamp heavy construction which occurred inside running plant in Hydrocracker Unit at 2009.Big tasks being given such as coordinator in catalysts unloading and loading activities, leading in line walk new installed piping/tie-in packages, review of construction progress, line flushing/blowing and readiness of shutdown/turnaround/revamp/start-up.
e) Doubling with Shift Supervisor to improve operation skill for more than 3 years. Given task to lead and supervised technicians in commissioning new line and operating new equipments which was being installed during Refinery Turn Around and Retrofit/Revamp in 2009/10.
f) HAZOP leader and representative from production to close all critical issue regarding Process Safety Management and lead in any changes happened in plant which required usage of Management of Changes and HAZID study.
g) Liaise with other chemical companies outside in order to evaluate report and tender negotiation which conclude to progress payment in chemical purchasing for Refinery Turn Around and Retrofit/Revamp for purging and other usage. Also responsible in logistics work such as transportation to transfer all chemicals, catalysts and absorbent which being used for HCK shutdown and start up activities from one to another place in large quantity.
h) In charge of budget tracking in Area Department OPEX on monthly basis comparing the actual vs planned and taking into consideration the variance analysis of Financial Year YTD/AF expenditure. Also ensuring adequate inventory including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemicals stock, lubricants and HSE equipment all enough for daily operation usage which can preventing cause of human injury or fatality in Refinery.

Representative from Operation in Six Sigma Project Optimizations of Excess o2 at F-30210 , F-30220 and F-30250 which saved up roughly RM 60,000 fuel firing cost per year.
Shutdown coordinator for TA/ Revamp 09/10 for Hydro Cracking Unit and saved 2 days ahead schedule planned for early startup which save up about RM 1.3 M per day.
Lead in Energy Saving Team for steam trap management which saved up approximately RM 16,000 per year for condensate loss due to failure of seam traps in plant areas.
