July 2008 to April 2010 with PUNJLLOYD Ltd. Abu Dhabi as Piping Engineer - Design
Client : BOROUG.
Project : BOROUG-2 Poly fins Unit, Product Handling and Marine Facilities.

Role:
*Involve in preparation of equipment modelling, piping modelling, support generation, clash checking, and isometric generation in PDS.
*Preparation of plot plan, layouts, general arrangements, and piping support detail drawings etc.
*Preparation of BOQ in MS-Excel to maintain the database of piping engineering.
*Generating concepts of piping system and developing critical piping system in conjunction with the Lead Piping Engineers of all design activity.
*Reviewing of navy’s works to develop Plot/Equipment Layout concepts and checking and providing right focus and direction.
*Dealing with client to maintain the quality of Equipment/Piping Layout designs.
*Selecting support-piping systems from a standard library of Pipe Supports Generation of Technical Work Practices and Design Instructions associated with Piping Design issues.

*Involve in preparation of equipment modelling, piping modelling, support generation, clash checking, and isometric generation in PDS
*Preparing plot plans, layouts, general arrangements piping and equipment.
*Providing detail engineering design and drafting support and troubleshooting customer inquiries from both onshore offshore facilities and quality assurance on Mechanical Piping drawings and related documents.
*Developing CAD Drafting guideline and check lists for the Certification of Integrity Critical drawings.
*Supporting the QA/QC functions of design implementing a drawing check in/check out process and coordinating project multiple revisions.
*Maintaining the Upstream Master Drawing Register & Providing CAD drafting and Design support.
*Interacting with Facilities Engineering, Projects and Operations in the process of providing design/drafting requirements as per the Engineering Work Requests.

*Preparing equipment valve specifications and piping tracking system and Pre-engineered Buildings and Commercial Buildings, Floor Drawings, Crane Beam Detailing, etc.

*Preparation of accounting sheet for the purpose of invoicing and estimate.
*Clarifying queries from customers/ consultants regarding design aspects.
*Providing timely communication/ feedback to the team on relevant issues that would help in meeting customer needs and achieving customer satisfaction.

*Resolving the site queries by consulting execution & customer.
*Regularising the drawings through tacking approval from client.
*Weld joints and spool marking for the isometrics.
*Additional or deletion of joints by tacking conformation from site engineers.
*Drawing change requirements for errors and lack of clarity in the client drawing / specification or any additional details in the drawing.
*Material change due to the non availability of material indicated in drawing.
*Sending technical queries for reconciliation of fitting due to mismatch of bolts holes, threading, nominal bore, schedules for piping components and pipes.
