Specialize in pyrolysis equipments where I have been installing, operating, and troubleshooting for the past 3 years. Besides that, I have 5 years ATE machinery experience from semiconductor line.

I’ve completed my degree in Mechanical engineering from University of Sunderland (2005-2008) as well as diploma (2001-2002) and a professional certificate (1998-2000) from local Polytechnics.

Accustomed to fast-paced projects where deadlines are a priority and handling multiple jobs is the norm, I enjoy a challenge and take pride in my work. Senior Engineer (Head of Engineering Department)
• Troubleshoot and develop engineering solutions to improve plant production and operation. Supervise a team of engineers, liaise with consultants and vendors, and manage engineering projects
• Specialize in Pyrolysis process, Reactors, Vessels, Vacuum system, Pumps, Flow control instruments, Heat Exchangers, Valves, Rupture disc, Silo, Hopper, Furnace, Fan and Blower, Motor, Shredder machine, Debeading machine, Magnet separator, Conveyor system, Cooling screw, Roll mill, Cooling Tower, Compressor, Diesel generator, Pipe sizing
• Conduct housekeeping practices (5S), audit, and propose improvements in housekeeping / safety rules in order to create a safe, clean and tidy working environment. Implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability throughput, developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs
• Monitor, analyze, improve and control processes, materials, tooling and equipment. Prepare and improve manufacturing work instructions, checklist and operating procedure for new process requirement. Review / update existing procedures and develop new procedures with regard to equipment maintenance, process engineering, and process development
• Recommend modifications in the light of prototype test results based on cost, safety and time constraints. Source or recommend new equipment and piece-parts to revamp the manufacturing process with high level of product quality and process efficiency
• Overlook day to day efficiency of operations. Prudent manpower planning to ensure optimum manpower.

• Agitator system – Recover tyre chips bridging issue at weighing hopper and feeding silo
• Heat exchanger – Improve heat transfer efficiency for quenching vessel(Improve from 40°C to 37°C)
• Oil spray nozzle design – Improve oil spray coverage area and heavy oil cooling down process at quenching vessel
• Scraper disc with spiral plate modification – Improvement on carbon black and oil yield (nnd product)
• High Low limit switch – Changed from paddle switch to TDR Radar system for perfect detection
• Re-design carbon black discharge screw conveyor – Improve C/B discharge temperature (From ~110°C to ~85°C)
• Carbon Black Emergency Discharge (Y DAMPER) – Backup system in case of any break down at C/B packing area
• Grounding – Electrostatic discharge to avoid endothermic reaction (internal combustion)
• Safety valve and rupture disc study and design – Stop safety valve joint leakage
• Infrared camera – To detect NC gas leakage (Thermal electromagnetic radiation)
• NC gas Filter – Improve filtration (From 50mesh wires to 150mesh wires)
• Self relieve valve – add Electro Pneumatic Positioner (EPP) to activate automated gas monitoring and burning system.
• Gas Monitoring system – Control Pyrolysis process temp (YOKOGAWA Controller)
• Gasket improvement – Test and study gasket performance. (Asbestos , Silicone , Graphite, Ceramic) Soft cut, Spiral wound, Camprofile.
• Rectangular flange redesign – Design rectangular flange for reactor.
• Redesign hydraulic puller system – Reactor driver part hydraulic puller from manual to auto.

• Responsible to define KPIV, conduct gage R&R studies, correlation studies, implement and process documentation (eg. Manufacturing instructions, Visual aids, Bill of Material, etc.)

• Pneumatic Docking Plate - Huge modification of manual operation to automatic operation using pneumatic control. This device helps to attach the Tester to the Handler in a stronger and better engagement.
• Handler Stopper – Modification at the machine wheel to make the handler static in position even able to face the internal vibration. This Improved site performance.
• TCU (Temperature Control Unit) – to provide perfect temperature without tolerance to the DUT (device under test). Modification done on both handler and tester portion. Reorganized and attached extra fitting of mechanical and electronic sensor parts
• PCIT Communicator - communication cable between CPU and tester. Modification done at CPU, test head and PCIT card slot using a bracket which will get better contact and solve previous communication errors
