CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I'm an up and coming welder fabricator based in the UK, willing to travel worldwide with my work, to gain as much experience as possible.

Very keen and love my job, having mainly been working on thinner materials for the motorsport sector.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

M-Sport LTD May 2010 - Current

M-Sport ltd are one of the UK’s leading company’s in Motorsport preparation, known worldwide for producing winning rally cars. Throughout my time here I have strived to create excellent quality bodyshells and components within a strict timescale. My duties here included MIG and TIG welding components together with the aid of technical drawings, before attaching them to a vehicle precisely using Jigs and high accuracy measuring equipment (FARO arm). Materials varied greatly in both thickness and type, thin steel to very thick titanium and aluminum. This allowed me to become very aware of metal distortion and how to overcome it. All work had to be to a very high standard for both aesthetics and safety due to the nature of the cars use.

Xsport Racing September 2007 – May 2010

My daily tasks included the design and development of custom roll cages, all built to current MSA Blue Book standards. I was also been involved in detailed vehicle set ups, including geometry and corner weighing. I have also helped in the running and maintenance of a number of different cars for various clients, mainly in national championships and the Britcar 24hr race, which have include ex BTCC and DTM cars. Other skills I have acquired include specialist fabrication, general servicing and health and saftey practices.

Bellemoor Tavern Sept 2007 to March 2008

I began working at the Bellemoor as a chef, and soon had the chance to expand my skills further with bar work, leading to having the responsibility of running the bar on my own after a relatively short time period.

Balmoral Inn Sept 2001 to Aug 2007

Head Chef

I began working at the Balmoral Inn due to my school's work experience scheme, and in doing so created myself a job, which led to employment right throughout my college days. I started out as a Sue Chef and worked my way up to the responsibilities of Head Chef, which include stock takes and managing the kitchen, ending my time with me working with 4 staff under my authority.
