Contracts Administrator, LEIGHTON CONTRACTORS ASIA LIMITED, September 2008 to Present – MASBATE POWER PLANT PROJECT, Aroroy, City of Masbate, An 11,979,632.00 USD Project, a 30MW Heavy Fuel Oil Power Station to serve the Masbate Gold Process Plant. It comprises three (3) 6.4MW and two(2) 5.4MW second hand Wartsila Generator sets and Balance of Plant, together with new plant including Fuel and Water Storage Tanks, Cooling Towers, Transformers, Switchgear, Oil Bath Filters and PLC Control Managements System. The second hand generator sets, balance of plant and the bulk of the new equipment is supplied free issue by the client. The equipment is housed in a new purpose built power station building located in close proximity to the process plant.

Responsibilities:
• Assess and reduce the commercial risk of contracts whilst ensuring successful delivery of projects in terms of cost control.
• Liaise with consultants/contractors regarding program and delays. Assess liability for delays and additional costs based upon consultant/ contractor’s submission.
• Review key work orders for projects, bill of quantities, ensure a smooth handover of all tender information, assumptions and risk to the operational delivery team.
• Management of surveyors in contractual matters, claims management, preparation and negotiation of tenders.

Site monitoring and evaluating of contractors progress of work as well as institute remedial measures and recommend solutions if problems are encountered in the course of project implementations.
