I graduated in 2001 from one of the prestigious institute UDCT, Mumbai. I started my career working in the Refinery Operations. I got an excellent experience in various refinery operations. Then I worked as a Project Engineer for a project-engineering consultancy and subsequently worked as a Process Engineer in Mott MacDonald consultancy and Ingenero Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd. And presently I am working as a Sr. Process Engineer in Shaw Rolta Ltd., Mumbai - A well known EPC Company in Ethylene and FCC Technology. During my 9 years of work experience in the industry, I have handled responsibilities of Plant Shift Engineer, Project and Process Engineer for Refinery, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas projects.

I also have an experience of using Hysis & Pro-II software for process simulation; and international codes and standards like API, TEMA, ISA and ASME.

A joint venture company between The Shaw Group Inc., USA and Rolta India Limited, offers engineering, design, procurement and construction management services for refinery, petrochemical, and power projects in India and supports for projects worldwide through its affiliates, Shaw Energy and Chemical Group and Shaw Power Group.

9 New Cryogenic Ethylene Storage Tank, Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), Proj no. 139974
This project is to build a new atmospheric storage ethylene tank of 50000 m3 capacity with
associated facilities of Boil Off Gas (BOG) compressors, propylene refrigeration system and ship
loading/unloading jetty. This new tank will be integrated with existing equipment and facilities
associated with present existing tank of 30000 m3. Working on P&IDs development and being
reviewed with MK (UK) office. Will be working on its hydraulic calcs, PSV sizing & data sheets.
8 Model Upstream FEED Project, Middle East, Project no. 10062
This was an Oil & Gas project with on-plot and off-plot facilities consisting of 90 wells
transporting oil & gas through Multiport Selector Valves (MSVs) and pipelines having testing
and separating facility, compressors for transporting gas to another facility and pig launchers/
receivers to clean out the pipelines. Was responsible for P&IDs development of off-plot area,
Hydraulic calculations, Material Selection Diagram (MSD), Equipment data sheets, PSV sizing
and data sheets, and Instrument Process Data Sheets.
7 ExxonMobil Asia Pacific SPT Chemical project, Jurong Island, Singapore (Project no. 126170)
This EPCM project has a plant capacity of 944 KTA Ethylene and 614 KTA Propylene. Was
responsible for incorporating MOCR’s (Management Of Change Request) for P&IDs
Development for all the process and utility areas during Detailed Engineering phase of project.
6 GAIL (India) Ltd., Auraiya, Pata, UP – 440 KTA Ethylene Plant UPC Sixth cracking furnace Expansion Project (Domestic Project no. 10059)
This was an expansion project for additional 6th cracking furnace (100 KTA Ethylene capacity).
Responsibilities included P&IDs development (Furnace & associated P&IDs along with SD-3
logic diagram P&ID, utility and tie-in P&IDs), preparing Equipment List, Line List & Tie-in
summary, Instrument Process Data Sheets and HAZOP participation & preparing study report.
5 Petrobras HOFCC Ethylene project, Rio De Jenero, Brazil (Project no.131864).
I was deputed to Shaw office in Houston, Texas, USA for 6 months to work on the PDP phase
of this project. It was High Olefin Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (HOFCC) integrated process. I
worked on 3 process units (1) Cold fractionation (2) Ethylene refrigeration and (3) Propylene
refrigeration units. I was responsible for hydraulic calculations, P&ID’s development, LDT,
CV/FE summary, Pump summary, SP Item datasheets in co-ordination with other team
members and leads from Process, Mechanical and Instrumentation.
4 PetroChina Sichuan Petrochemical Company Chengdu, Sichuan, PRC (Project no.127991).
The project involved the preparation of Process Design Package (PDP) for 800 KTA Ethylene
plant. Was responsible for Hydraulic calculations, P&IDs Development, PSV Sizing and data
sheets, RO sizing, LDT, CV-FE Summary and Specialty Item data sheets for Cracked Gas, Hot
Fractionation and Caustic areas.
3 PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Company Liaoning, Fushun, PRC (Project no.127990).
The project involved the preparation of Process Design Package (PDP) for 800 KTA Ethylene
plant. Was responsible for Hydraulic calculations, P&IDs Development, PSV Sizing and data
sheets, RO sizing, LDT, CV-FE Summary and Specialty Item data sheets for Cracked Gas, Hot
Fractionation and Caustic areas.
2 Indian Petrochemical Corporation Ltd. (IPCL), Nagothane, INDIA - 60Mt Propane Cracking
Expansion Project (Project no. 10054). This was a domestic Ethylene plant revamp project for
processing 60 MT propane externally to determine maximum processing capacity of C2/C3 mix
feedstock within the limitation of compressor and turbine capacities of CG, C2R & C3R. Was
responsible for adequacy checks of equipment like exchangers, vessels, pipelines, and PSVs.
All required hydraulics, line sizing of PSV and other calculations were performed.
1 Al-Shaheen Refinery Project (RFCC unit), Qatar Petroleum, Mesaieed - Project no. 127001
This project involved the preparation of Process Design Package (PDP) for 60000 BPSD RFCC
(Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking) Unit. Was involved in Hydraulic calculations, P&IDs
Development and PSV calculations.

4] Name of Organization: INGENERO TECHNOLOGIES (I) PVT. LTD., Vikhroli, Mumbai, India.
Designation: Analyst-Process Engineering.
Duration: 9 months (September 2006 – May 2007)

Role: • Analysis of plant safety systems for US refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants;
mainly from Texas city like Borger refinery, Sunoco refinery, ConocoPhillips refineries,
Frontier refinery and Valero refinery.
• Analysis consists of identifying all the scenarios of overpressures, determining the
required relief rates for all scenarios, determining relief device capacities and checking
the adequacies of relief devices.
• Analyzed the Vacuum Distillation Unit (Frontier refinery), C3/C4 and Sour Water
Stripper plant (ConocoPhillips, Los Angeles).

3] Name of Organization: Mott Mac-Donald Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Worli, Mumbai, India.
