2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Nov 5th, 2009 – To Till Continues, Senior Safety Officer of BOC GASES INDIA LTD. This position shall directly report to the Operation Manager.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the implementation of safety and coordinator to the sub-contractors to meet safety standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 Prepares HSE topics for Daily Toolbox Talks and Weekly General Safety Meeting to be conducted by Worksite Supervisors.
 Conducts Safety Induction to all newly hired workers about “BOC” HSE requirements before they are permitted to work at the site.
 I see to it that all Personnel adhere to “BOC” British Oxygen Company specific safety rules, regulations and safe working practices. (SWP)
 Monitors and check daily, if Worksite Supervisors are implementing the “BOC” PERMIT TO WORK System (e.g. Hot, Cold, Spark Potential, Radiography Permits and Confined Space Entry Certificate).
 Informed Worksite Supervisors and other Personnel regarding the importance and proper usage & care of PPE.
 Conduct daily inspection of facilities, equipments, tools, materials to be use by employee to ensure corrective actions are taken to eliminate identified hazards on safety.
 Monitors the Safe Work Procedures in Confined Space, Crane & Rigging Operations, Man-basket, Working @ Height, Proper use of Hand and Power Tools etc.
 Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
 Prepare required materials and documents relating to safety procedures.
 Attends Weekly Safety Coordination and Monthly Safety Committee Meeting.
 Conducts employee safety and environment training, including class lectures and demonstrate hands on training.

Oct 23rd, 2007 – Oct 20th. 2009, Safety Officer of “MIDMAC–YUKSEL JV (CONSTRUCTION COMPANY DOHA QATAR)”, this position shall directly report to the Safety Manager.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the implementation of safety standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 Conducts Daily Toolbox and Weekly Safety Meeting with the Workers and Supervisor
 Prepares HSE topics for Toolbox talks and General Weekly Meeting to be conducted by Worksite Supervisor.
 Monitor Safe Work Procedures in Crane and Rigging Operations, Working @ Height, Proper use of Hand and Power Tools etc.
 Conduct Weekly Walk Thru Safety Audit on all the jobsites with Company’s Worksite Supervisors.
 Conducts HSE induction to all newly hired workers before they are permitted to work at the project site.
 Conducts accident and illness investigation and make recommendations to prevent recurrence in the future.
 Ensure that Company Personnel adheres to project’s specific HSE rules, regulations and safe working practices.
 Attends Weekly Safety Coordination and Monthly Safety Committee Meeting.
 Conducts employee safety and environment training, including class lectures and demonstrate hands on training.
 Submit Daily Activities and Weekly Report to Safety Manager.
 Conducts inspection of LIVING QUARTERS of workers at the project camp.
 We continuously educates our workers without fail concerning HSE awareness that made the NDIA/North/South/Extension to Ras Abu Abboud Road – Doha, Qatar Project achieved 5 Million Man-hours without LTA.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the implementation of safety and coordinator to the sub-contractors to meet safety standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 Conduct daily inspection of all designated areas to observe safety.
 Response immediately for all vehicular accident occurred if there’s affected utilities involved and make report and take picture as reference.
 Monitor the work of engineering and construction contractor that they adhere with the Tata Iron & Steel Co. safety standards to maintain zero accident.
 Provide technical support to all areas of the company to improve safety performance.
 Provide technical support for accident and cost reductions programs.
 Investigate accidents, injuries, and illness and complains to track cause.
 Conduct pre-inspection of all encroachment permits to make sure that there's no affected utilities.
 Conduct final inspection of all encroachment permits for the close-out and make back charges and hold the documents in case of unsatisfactorily restoration.
 Ask rectification of affected areas before the close –out of encroachment permits.
 Observes works in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 Monitors the Safe Work Procedures in Confined Space, Crane & Rigging Operations, Man-basket, Working @ Height, Proper use of Hand and Power Tools etc.
 Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
 Prepare required materials and documents relating to safety procedures.
 Conduct investigation of incidents “near miss” incidents, analyze cause and recommend corrective procedures.

 Provide technical support to all areas of the company to improve safety performance.
 Coordinate with BOC Representatives with regards to daily joint inspection at the jobsites.
 Monitors and check daily, if Worksite Supervisors are implementing the BOC Gas PERMIT TO WORK System (e.g. Hot, Cold, Spark Potential, Radiography Permits and Confined Space Entry Certificate).
 Informed Worksite Supervisors and other Personnel regarding the importance and proper usage & care of PPE.
 Monitors Safe Work Procedures in Crane and Rigging Operations, Working @ Height, Proper use of Hand and Power Tools etc. and see to it that Subcontractors’ Personnel adheres to BOC Gas specific Safety Rules, Regulations and Safe Working Practices. (SWP)
 Monitoring of Sites for gas release and conduct Gas Testing before Subcontractor start their work and as necessary as practicable
 Conducts inspection for Color Coding with regards to Crane, Slings, Man-basket and other hoisting Devices, Power Tools / Hand Tools, Fire Fighting Equipment etc.
 Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
