Prepare request for quotation, solicit bids, comparison statements. Must be able to recommend the best supplier or bidder based on past history or market reputation.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with the selected suppliers or bidders in compliance with price, quantity, technical specifications and delivery schedule.
Ensure that the delivered materials meet the specifications in terms of quantity and quality.
