1. Project Work
Produced water treatment and re-injection: The project covers the chemical, reservoir angles of Produced water Re-Injection (PWRI) and challenges and future needs of PWRI. The case study on Ravva field, CAIRN ENERGY INDIA LIMITED helped to know the practical aspects too. The production angle was covered in IOGPT, ONGC, Panvel, Mumbai.

2. Undergone three weeks Lab and Field Training at ONGC, Chennai in the 3rd year
a. 1st week: Visited the regional lab in Chennai and learned the various hydrocarbon identification and testing techniques.
b. 2nd week: Visited Interpretive Interaction Workstations (IIWS) and got familiarized with seismic methods of data acquisition and data interpretation.
c. 3rd week: Visited Karaikal Asset where engineers and geologist from the asset gave an insight of the various methods of Hydrocarbon exploration. The visit also included a field trip.
3. Visited several fields which included a GGS, a sucker rod pump installation at Karaikal in the 2nd year.
