I am looking for a career change into offshore oil rigging. I understand that I would need to start at entry level as a roustabout. I am very hard working and quick to learn and would appreciate my application to be considered.

Present South Leicestershire Property Maintenance
I set up South Leicestershire Property Maintenance when I relocated back to Leicester. I cover all areas of property maintenance from painting & decorating, plastering, general carpentry, garden maintenance, basic plumbing and much more.
April 2010 Sloggett & Kent Building Firm
I ran a successful building firm with my colleague Steve Sloggett. We carried out various building work including extentions, loft conversions, general property maintenance, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, landscape gardening, painting & decorating. We had a good client base and a lot repeat and referral business as wed built a good reputation locally. We always aimed to go the extra mile for our clients giving our advice with our years of experience.
October 2005 BPK Property Maintenance
I decided to set up my own property maintenance company to utilise the skills Id learnt in previous jobs. Duties included general property maintenance, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, painting & decorating, plastering and general carpentry. Most of my client base was word-of-mouth I also did a number of leaflet drops in the local area.
September 2000 Tesco
I managed the replenishment of the frozen food section in the Beaumont Leys store in Leicester. I was given the responsibility of the layout of the entire frozen food section. I worked very closely with the stock control department and was given the responsibility of deciding which promotion products would be used each month. I was responsible for the reduction of excess stock again working very closely with the stock control department. This meant I had to use my initiative and my communication skills.
Initially I started as a plasterers labourer where I learnt the plastering trade for 6 years. I then moved into other areas of the company including painting & decorating, general carpentry, bathroom & kitchen fitting, bricklaying and various other construction related skills.
Duties included digging foundations, laying new drains systems, laying new driveways and paths. Other skills included driving a fork lift and the dumper truck.
