I set up South Leicestershire Property Maintenance when I relocated back to Leicester. I cover all areas of property maintenance from painting & decorating, plastering, general carpentry, garden maintenance, basic plumbing and much more.

I ran a successful building firm with my colleague Steve Sloggett. We carried out various building work including extentions, loft conversions, general property maintenance, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, landscape gardening, painting & decorating. We had a good client base and a lot repeat and referral business as we’d built a good reputation locally. We always aimed to go the extra mile for our clients giving our advice with our years of experience.

I worked very closely with the stock control department and was given the responsibility of deciding which promotion products would be used each month. I was responsible for the reduction of excess stock again working very closely with the stock control department. This meant I had to use my initiative and my communication skills.
