I’m working for over thirteen years on sea now as an electrician/E&I maintenance engineer. In that time I worked for several companies in the offshore and dredging.
The part that made me decide to apply is the good work-leave schedules 3 or 4on/off instead of the 6 on 6 off what is usual in the dredging.
The drilling industry is well-known for me, because I worked for Deutag drilling.
I also worked for Heerema, installing platforms.
On the North sea I was working as an E&I for NAM and Total Fina Elf.

Fire & Gas, Galley, RO unit, Telecoms etc

Electrician/E&I technician responseble for all the electrical and electronic devices on board like, Generators 380v660V systems, PLC’s (Allen Bradley, RS Locic/ Scada) and VME VME is a specially developed plc system for HAM Dredging. This is an complete automatic dredging system.
To operate this system correctly, all the sensors had to be calibrated correctly and fully functional.
These ships were also equipped with an engineroom alarm system like all the ships.
We also work with an automatic maintenance system (MP5)
As chief electrician also responsible for ordering, maintaining the electrical spare parts.
With dockings responsible for organizing 3th party and whole docking.
