I spent three years as an apprentice until I got my diploma and after I continued my studies
to enter University of Malta.
2002-2009 Part time jobs
During these years I worked as a diver and as an electrician (domestic), in order to get
financial support for my studies.
For the past ten years I have been doing several voluntary works in my local parish church were I form part of a committee to organise social activities. Works such as planning and organising social activities for fund raising, organising music lessons, delegating work and managing our resources in order to collaborate and work altogether as one organisation are some of our everyday activities.

Group Project: ‘Wave Energy Converters’
In this project our group dealt with the analysis of the potential of wave energy converters with comparison to other renewable energy technologies while analysing different wave energy converters present in today’s industry. My section consisted on the analysis of the control of wave energy converters.
Individual Project: ‘Analysis of Onshore and Offshore Pipeline Pigging Technologies’
As my individual project, I performed an analysis of pipeline pigging technologies mainly utility pigs, gel pigs and intelligent pigs. Here I obtained knowledge in the pipeline industry such as why to pig a pipeline? How to pig a pipeline? How frequent one should pig a pipeline? etc. A comparison and cross analysis between onshore and offshore pigging procedures was discussed and finally a model of a pig launcher and pig receiver were built in order to simulate the pigging operation.

Some of these are the Design and Implementation of an x-y plotter and the design of an electric installation of an industrial kitchen. Also individual projects such as PIC microcontroller controlled water heater and a PIC microcontroller controlled pet incubator.
Dissertation: ‘The Design and Implementation of an Electric Boat’ (Grade: A)
The aim of this thesis was to design and implement a seven seater electric boat, to be used for short trips in various harbours around the Maltese islands. This offered an environmental friendly trip while reducing costs from an internal combustion powered boat.

ACTIVITIES & INTERESTS
My main interest is anything concerned with sports especially free-diving and scuba diving which I’ve been practicing for over ten years. Football is another passion I have which helps me relax my mind. Apart from sports I am very interested in any new developing technologies and keep myself up to date in this area.
