i just finished 1 big project with Shell Ethylene Cracker Complex under CBI-TOYO JV @ Pulau Ular Island Singapore as Quantity Surveyor (contractor side) were doing all instrumentation works @ 80M Budget as contractor. i did the account closing,Progress Claim (Monthly),VO & materials Claims, AFC-BQ Re-measurement for final cost estimate, Submission of new rates, coordinate to JV QS/Contracts Engineer to resolve some contract disputes & new rates, Subcontracts (Checked subcon claims), site measurements.

• Site inspection, monitoring, and make records of work done quantity on site, based on daily working schedule.
• Take off the bill of quantity from approved for construction drawing and actual progress quantity.
• Check & Approved Subcontract Claims & Issued Invoices.
• Prepare monthly progress claim based on monthly work done on site. (Contract and VO items & Procured Materials)
• Preparation of Change Orders and Contract Amendments particularly on new Unit rate items.
• AFC BQ Finalization in connection with the overall Direct costing on the contract.(cost impact)
• AFC BQ Re-measurement (all items under contracts/Variation orders/Site Instructions).
• QS Key person (coordinate/liaise with client’s QS/Contracts DEPT).
• Estimate at completion (actual cost with AFC BQ Re-measurement).
• Closing of Final Accounts and Documentation.
• Preparation of all necessary documents for final progress claim.
• Tendering & Preparation of Quotation for submission.
