I have worked as a student research assistant for the TAMUK geology department, averaging about 10 hrs of work per week, in addition to my coursework. Worked as a student research assistant for Texas A&M University Kingsville. In this position I had the opportunity to utilize groundwater modeling software in order to simulate borehole analyses and produce thin sections for mineralogy study. I was also responsible for maintaining the Geology Department rock shop and equipment This position also allowed me to study in depth my chosen profession.
