As a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, my services draw on my prior business-to-business experience and include working with businesses and institutions building buy/sell agreements, key man and succession planning, merger acquisition investment, pension/retirement plans, and various forms of focused financial and advisory services to help maximize value and minimize risk to assets.

FuelQuest- ZyTax September 2007 to 2009
ZyTax, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saracen Gas Trading, is the lead supplier of strategic on-demand financial software solutions for motor fuel supply-chain. ZyTax provides indirect tax determination and excise tax compliance calculations for the global downstream, midstream, and upstream oil and gas, energy, transportation, and government market segments in both field and office environments.
• National Sales and Marketing Director. Maximized revenues through direction of inside (telesales) sales, field sales, and marketing/management reports for $10.8MM annual revenue sales. Directed and supported the field efforts of sales managers and supervisors.
o Hands-on responsibility for hiring, training, coaching, motivating and ongoing assessment of 17 sales and marketing staff with first year team growth from $7MM to $10MM+ sales.
o Developed and executed aggressive integrated business plan cross-departmentally including resource allocation, key performance indicators, budget, forecasting, managing cost of sale, sales support and training, and designing and administering compensation plans. Market penetration strategy and tactics resulted in identification and penetration of new verticals and revenue growth of annual $2.1 mill up-sell.

The Trust Group January 2000 to August 2007
The Trust Group was a privately held portfolio of several small businesses with sales of a variety of product and service combinations. The primary goal was expanding sales and presence to national scope for broader market penetration.
• Vice President of Sales and Marketing. My objective was directed toward oversight and expansion sales in several small companies under a single umbrella. These included medical background and license check services, oil & gas, energy consumption in manufacturing and other engineering based industries. Strong entrepreneurial component.
o Complex integrated product and service offerings included risk assessment, software applications, tax abatement services, and personnel background validation. As we reached $7-10MM per business in annual revenues, the companies were then sold or divested and profits returned to the Trust. My role was primarily directed toward building out personnel, profitably expanding, and improving internal and external sales operations processes. I established accountability systems, enhanced production through proactive marketing strategy, branding and targeted campaigns, competitively positioned and boosted new products and services, and managed field expenses and cost of sale. At sale of each business I helped implement handoff.
