I am based in Perth and wish to apply for this position, I have attached my CV, showing my passed qualifications and experience. My current contract is now completed and I am available for immediate start or interview.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Logistics Supervisor.
Located in Dakar Senegal, Ophir commenced a 21 day single deep water Exploration Well, The Rig was the Maersk Deliverer with 3 PSV’s and 2 Naval Guard vessels. I joined this campaign for primarily for the end of Well, demob and for inventory reconciliation. Within Logistics we imported and exported all equipment by vessel from Ghana, writing the commercial invoices. The Shore Base needed day to day supervision, where I personally supervised loading vessels and yard operations. The Well exceeded the 21 Days with extended drilling days. After completing my in-country hitch, I then worked in Perth head office for Well consumption and reconciliation, cargo exports and delivery confirmations.

Completed end of well consumptions, inventory reconciliation, and invoice close off lesson learnt and tracked final demob of equipment. During this time also worked on equipment mobilisation to Senegal.

Logistics Superintendent.
I joined the Ophir Energy Drilling Team for a 3 + 1 drilling campaign in July, located in Mtwara Tanzania, these were deep water wells using a Semi-submersible Rig the Deep Sea Stavanager, we use two Supply Boats and 5 Guard Vessels. The operation is being run logistically within the Mtwara Port.
When I arrived, I set up the inventory using the DIPS programme. Daily responsibilities included vessel scheduling, material and equipment requirements for the Rig and Shore base, liaising with Rigs Supervisor and logistics co-ordinator for Drilling operations, organising and transporting material and equipment locally, nationally and internationally. We schedule and ordered Jet-A1 fuel for our Heliport and Bulk tankers for bunker fuel for the operation.
Liaising daily with our Shore Base Contractor - Regent, Regent’s have 35 labours and machine operators working within the Shore Base, most of these workers have not worked in the industry before, we all participate in training and safety programmes to insure a safe and efficient operation.

Logistics Supervisor.
During a low activity and restructuring period for ROC OIL, I set up an inventory cost spread sheet for all the ROC OIL Drilling and Completion Equipment located in Victoria.
On completion I was asked by Production to oversee the moving of 5400 joints of Gas Line Pipe to a new storage yard. These yards were located in Wollongong NSW.

Logistics Supervisor Shore base.
For the BMG Project I was involved in setting up and running the Shore base for this campaign. The Shore base was located in Geelong Port – Geelong for the Sub Sea work overs of B5 and B3 and the drilling of B7 Well located in the Bass Strait. I worked this position full time for the 6 months duration.
The DIPS inventory software was used, I entered all data for incoming Material and Equipment, compiled truck and boat manifests.
During this campaign I was involved in organising and transporting material and equipment locally, nationally and internationally.
Daily responsibilities included vessel scheduling (2 to 4 vessels), material and equipment requirements for the Rig and Shore base, liaising with Rigs Supervisor and logistics co-ordinator for Drilling and completion operations
At the end of the project I finalised the inventory and returned all rental equipment and moved all ROC OIL owned equipment to a new storage yard outside of Geelong.
Once the campaign close out was completed, I organised all remaining ROC OIL owned Drilling and Completion equipment located in Victoria to be transported to the Geelong Storage Yard for long term storage.

Logistics / Procurement Supervisor.
Based in ROC OIL’s Sydney office, I was involved in the close out of the Drilling campaign for the Angolan wells, this included invoice credits for material returned.
I also worked on the BMG Project, this included travelling to Melbourne to identify suitable locations for equipment storage, and port operations. I also worked with the Drilling Engineer on cost comparisons for servicing the ocean Patriot while it was being Stacked in the Western port Victoria for up to 180 days. (Using small boat and barge for crew changes and alternative wharf and vessels for bulk and food supplies).
I also undertook the new Purchase and Service contracts system. Wrote contract recommendations. I was also involved in advising requirement for a new logistics inventory programme.

Logistics Supervisor.
Onshore Logistics for land drilling operations in Angola Africa. I arrived in Cabinda Angola at end of the first year of start up of the South block Drilling Project. As Logistics we helped organised warehouses, yards, roads, contract information, local Freight forwarders, suppliers (trucks, cranes and materials) and housing, for the upcoming drilling project. I was also involved in importing and moving two Drilling Rigs from overseas into Angola.
Daily operations reporting to the Drilling Manger and the Rig Drilling Supervisor, I supply and moved all equipment and material necessary to operate the two Drilling Rigs. I was involved in Rig moves from location to location, being the truck pusher for the Third party services equipment and ROC equipment during these moves. I wrote Purchase Orders to order materials internationally; I was required to adhere to the unique Angolan customs laws. Logistics has two assistants and four yard works whom I was responsible to manage.

Logistics Supervisor.
In May ROC OIL’S Shore Based logistic Supervisor (Jim Blackburn) was required in China. I was sent from offshore to onshore to fill in for 2 weeks. I stayed in Geraldton Western Australia for 5 months full time, my new position was logistics Supervisor to ROC OIL’S Cliff head project plus two exploration wells. My duties included using two Rig boats to supply all material and equipment to complete drilling and production operation. Daily duties included liaising with local Port, trucking company, Airport - planes and helicopters, manifests, Hotshot delivers and organising equipment repairs or manufacture. At the end of the project I finalised the inventory and returned all equipment, which included travelling to Karrartha, Western Australia to ship the remaining equipment that remained on the Rig with the Rig handover.

Cliff Head Development Project On the Ensco 67. In this position I worked with the Drilling Supervisor to manage the materials and logistics on and off the Ensco 67. This includes :
1. Scheduling the Supply Boats and daily requirements.
2. Forecasting ahead with requirements required for the project.
3. Manifesting backloads.
4. Booking personnel with helicopter flights.
5. Material transfers, maintaining inventory and consumption reporting.
6. Liaising with the rigs OIM and Barge Engineer for daily logistics activities.

On the Ensco 67 I carry out the duties of a roustabout within the deck crew. During my time in this position the Ensco 67 has been busy drilling many exploration wells; this has enabled me to quickly identify the different drilling tools, chemicals and equipment. In my position I work and assist;
-The Crane operator with unloading and back loading equipment.
-The Drill crew on the drill floor,
-The Derrick man in the sack room and pump room,
-The Store man with incoming orders and back loads,
-The Mechanics and the Electricians as required.
The Ensco 67 drilled and installed a water injection production platform of the Cliff Head Development off Geraldton Western Australia.

FIXED OPERATIONS MANAGER (Service and Parts Management combined)
Managing Service & Parts Departments at Gibbons Holden, started as the Services Manager then promoted to Fixed Operations Manager taking on the Spare Parts Department.
I am responsible for 18 employees. As Gibbons is a small dealership, I am hands on with all areas of the Service Department, often acting as Workshop Foreman. I organise all plant maintenance and supervise in-house maintenance.
Order & maintain workshop supply levels.
Equipment, stock and parts inventories are controlled and monitored on daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
Monitor daily figures, costs and sales. Lease with other departments for smooth dealership operations. Delegate and solve customer problems and follow up complaints. Write cost budgets and adhere to them.
I am the Safety Management coordinator.
Supervise dealership safety programs. Mentored O.H. &S Representatives.
Co-ordinate regular safety Tool Box meetings. Carry out regular hazard inspections. Responsible for, and to draft, safe working procedures. Organised skill based safety training (Manual Handling).

Working with in two multi-franchised dealerships. I compiled warranty claims, collected logged and shipped off faulty parts to the required manufacture. This position involved accuracy and attention to detail, to ensured correct transmission and delivery of claims and parts.

This Company was contracted to install air ventilation shafts down into the decline of the Gold Mines.
My Position was 2 weeks on 2 weeks off working in Wiling. I was the Plant Mechanic on the equipment which includes repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar Loaders and Backhoes, All terrain concrete Loader/Agitator, Compressor, Lighting Rig, Generator, Winch and Debris sucker/blower.
I also used machinery in site clearing and other contracts around the mine site. Using the Allterain concrete machine I produced and delivered the concrete as required.

Main Maintenance Contractor for the Gold Mine producing machinery at Plutonic Gold Mine.
My role was to service and maintain Caterpillar Dump Trucks and Loaders, Daewoo Excavators and Stationery Pumps and Lighting Rigs within a team of Mechanics.
In this position I followed and worked with all safety policies and procedures, and at times worked unsupervised in remote locations of the mine site.

I was offered the position of Production Manager. In this role I was responsible for 20 employees, assisted in day to day production and maintenance. Daily loading of trucks using a fork lift, ordering stock, materials and supplies for daily production. During my time at the factory, my boilermaker/welder and I installed and commissioned a new imported PLC controlled concrete batching plant. We conducted our maintenance and repairs on mechanical, air and hydraulic controls.

Running My own business, A mobile service van, servicing and repairing light commercials and trucks, also some bobcats and smaller excavators. In this business I carried out the accounting and invoicing.
