Worked with a team on taking newly acquired facilities and making them a successful part of the company by implementing corporate health, safety, environmental, and security policies, procedures, and plans. Worked side by side with operators, maintenance crew, and truck drivers to change the culture at facilities, which had a high rate of safety and environmental incidents.

• Assisted corporate attorney’s with interrogatories and provided HSE expertise for a company lawsuit against an equipment manufacturing company. Lead meetings with outside agencies regarding repeated environmental incidents and successfully negotiated minimal facility requirements to satisfy the environmental and agency concerns.

• Provided HSE guidance to multiple U.S. and Canadian feed manufacturing and bulk liquid storage facilities. Participated in U.S. and Canadian corporate audits.

Environmental – Air

 Conducted air monitoring for various chemicals within facility using PID, low-flow air pumps and passive diffusion monitors. Monitoring included but was not limited to, confined space entry/ operations, chemical releases and exposures, vapor purging events, and specific worker applications such as welding, sand blasting, heavy equipment operations, etc.
