- Managed to claim additional finances from the client for the dredging works of BHD as the scope of hard material in a trench during hammering was exceeding initially expected volume mentioned in the contract.
- Suggested and successfully implemented technique for installation of the bedding layer, which does not leave small piles of material on the starboard side of the trench
- Regular control of the survey works over the trench, timely survey requests & analysis & planning for future operations of the backhoe dredger

- Construction of SBK (South Break Water, MBK) & reclamation island
- Widening of existing port entrance channel by present 120 to 400 metres
- Contract implies dredging of 20 million m3 of limestone, reclamation of 25 million m3 of offshore sand, quarry and placing of 18 million tons of stone & construction and placing of 1 million m3 of concrete blocks for the construction of breakwaters that will protect new harbour

Responsibilities:

- Supervised 6 non-propelled split barges (Split 1,2,26, Pena 1, Split 21, Seine), along with 3 assisting tug boats
- Arrangement of dumping locations, various approaches to carry out dumping
- Liason with technical department with regards to technical conditions of the vessels
- Port clearance papers for the new arrived vessels
- DOS 90, pre-mobilisation certificates

Responsibilities:
- Modeling possible discharge options with regards to the increased distance of the point of release of the residual pre-commissioning chemicals & sea water intake of the power plant complex. Model included dispersion of oxygen scavenger & biocide in the marine waters. An alternative more environmentally friendly proposal was developed to the client to use alkaline controller (lime) to ensure no growth of bacteria occurs in the pipe leading to the final result of non toxic discharge water.
- Reviewing dewatering & hydro test procedures
- Regular liaison with EAD (Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi)
- Monitoring & auditing marine operations on CASTORO SEI support vessel.
