Job Title: Onshore Drilling Materials Coordinator
Company: Vanco / ADTI Cote d’ Ivoire

Responsibilities:
 Coordination of materials and equipment to and from the offshore supply base to the offshore drilling unit
 Inventory control of all company owned equipment and 3rd party rental equipment
 Supervise all loading and unloading operations at the dock side to ensure that it was carried out in a safe and timely manner and to ensure that all personnel and equipment completed the task with no injuries and no damage to equipment. Also supervised all loading of bulk materials
 Ensure that all 3rd party equipment was returned to the vendor in a timely manner
 Coordinate the import and export of materials sent by air, sea and road from overseas. Ensure that the Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists were correct and issued in a timely manner
 Liaise with the flight coordinator on personnel to and from the rig site and also any personnel arriving and leaving on International flights

 Unable to return to Libya due to the on-going civil war so was put on standby to return as and when the situation was resolved.

Responsibilities:
 Setting up and running an onshore supply base for offshore and onshore drilling operations for various oil companies in Libya
 Managing material and tool movements to and from the drilling rigs
 Liaise with contractors and 3rd parties with personnel and equipment logistics to and from the drilling rigs
 Tracking and expediting all materials and services to and from the drilling rigs
 Ensure that the supply base adheres to all HSE and lifting and rigging practices as per the customers and Joud Libya standards
 Manage all tools and materials at the supply base
 Manage personnel at the supply base
 Ensure that all 3rd party contractors adhere to the supply base HSE required standards
 Ensure that costs are tracked and kept within budget constraints
 Check that all documentation is in order before moving any equipment out to the rig and that rig returns are sent to the correct location in a timely manner
 Mentor and train Libyan Nationals
 Endeavour to identify where productivity can be increased and keep operating costs to a minimum without compromising the overall operation
 Negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers to ensure a cost effective without compromising the base operations

Responsibilities
 Contracted by Shell Libya to set up and run a remote base consisting of a pipe yard, warehouse and office in support of their land drilling operations in Libya.
 Ensure that the base was in compliance with all Shell Libya’s HSE standard practices.
 Take care of the base inventory and ensure it was kept up to date and forwarded to all the relevant parties concerned.
 Ensure that all transport was up to Shell’s standards and requirements as per their road transportation policies
 Receive and check all 3rd party equipment before onward shipment to the rig and report any discrepancies to senior management for review
 Communicate with the drilling engineers on the rig and the office to ensure that all equipment was sent to the rig in a timely manner and also returned to the vendors so as to ensure that costs were kept to a minimum
 Supervise all the base personnel to ensure that the various jobs in the yard were conducted in a safe and timely manner
 Mentor and train Libyan Nationals



From Feb ’07 To Dec ‘07
Job Title: Drilling Logistics Coordinator
Company: Woodside Energy North Africa

Responsibilities
 Coordination of materials and equipment to and from the offshore supply base to the offshore drilling unit
 Inventory control of all Woodside owned equipment and 3rd party rental equipment
 Update office on a weekly basis of all equipment held at the base and also on board the rig
 Keep a track of all rental equipment
