My expertise stems from international security and patrol assignments within the Canadian Forces (CF), alongside a global security service I administer. Speak at numerous secondary and post secondary institutions, career fairs, and other large scale, highly attended public events within the Greater Toronto Area. Appointed to this role due to long standing professionalism and experience within the Department of National Defence.
Selected as a Flight Line Security Team Leader for Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan. Supervised the complex task of securing, cordoning and ensuring the integrity and safety of the air field. In addition to providing security, conducted operations in recognition and segregation of suspicious activities, as well as packages ensuring that all incidents were professionally confirmed, confined, controlled and checked. Contributed to the revised flight line security standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assigned to Canada’s Marine Assessment Team for the war on terrorism with accountability to provide advanced marine assessment and transport needs along with tactical boarding techniques. Conducted threat assessments on vessels of interest prior to and during boarding operations. Carried out on-the-job small arms and intelligence gathering training for crews.
Well-rounded skill set and solid work ethic resulted in being assigned as an Instructor for CF Fleet School. As Boat Coxswain (Coxn) Instructor, facilitated day and night navigation, rough weather operations, and boarding techniques. Managed, mentored and formally evaluated 18 personnel. In the capacity of Range Safety Officer, guided others for small arms / demolition safety and etiquette of personnel and property.
