consists of three nos. of new package type substations each has two nos. of 8
MVA power transformers 11/3.3KV, Two nos. of 1500 KVA, 3.3/0.4 KV transformers,
3.3/0.4 switch gears, MCC (Motor Control Center), fire alarm system, emergency
diesel generator, cabling system, etc..
My activity was preparing EPC tender document, evaluation the bidders, review
and make comments on the successful contractor engineering works and materials
offered by contractor.

MAFP, at total cost KD/85 million, EPC contract, electric part of the project
consists of one no. of new package substation Fuji type, has two nos. of 10 MVA
power transformers 11/3.3KV, Two nos. of 1500 KVA, 3.3/0.4 KV transformers,
3.3/0.4 switch gears, MCC (Motor Control Center), fire alarm system, emergency
diesel generator, cabling system, etc..
My activity was preparing EPC tender document, evaluation the bidders, review
and make comments on the successful contractor engineering works and materials

North Pier Loading Arms Project at total cost KD/1.25 million, Construction
contract, electric part of the project consists of provide power supply /earth
system to the 12 nos. of loading arms with associated power and control cables,
440V switch gears (all materials are suitable for hazard area).
My activity was preparing tender document for electrical part of construction
works, procurement power/control cables, conduit materials, classified 440 V
switch gears, evaluation the bidders, review and make comments on the successful
contractor engineering works.

FOSP(Fuel Oil Supply Project) at total cost KD/6.5 million, EPC contract,
electric part of the project consists of Provide new package substation, 11 KV
switch gears, 0.440 V switch gears/ MCC, 1500 KVA transformers, 11/0.4 KV,
diesel generator for emergency power supply, UPS 40 KVA 110V AC, 110 VDC
battery charger, fire alarm system, power supply to three nos. of 1200 HP
pumps, lighting system for hazard area.
My activity was preparing EPC tender document, evaluation the bidders, review and
make comments on the successful contractor engineering works and materials
offered by contractor.

New Off –Gas Compressor And Modification on the two existing compressors at
total cost KD/500,000, construction contract, electric part of the project consists
of provide power supply /earth system to the new compressor 1200 HP 3.3 KV, with associated new power supply to the lube oil pump/heater, extend the existing compressors shelter with associated lighting system.
My activity was preparing tender document for electrical part of construction
works, procurement 3.3/0.4 KV power/control cables, conduit materials, 3.3 KV
switch gear Toshiba type, 440 V power unit for oil heater, 440V starter Tojami
for lube oil pump, evaluation the bidders, review and make comments on the
successful contractor engineering works.

Restoration works for old CDU #3 unit at total cost KD/4 million, construction
contract, electric part of the project consists of provide power supply /earth
system to the new 28 nos. of new pumps and compressors, with associated
power/control cables, new 3.3/0.4 KV switch gears, fire alarm system, battery
charger, up-grading of the existing lighting system, new ground system, provide
interlock/signal status to control room.
My activity was preparing of electrical part of tender document, procurement
3.3/0.4 KV power/control cables, conduit materials, EXD lighting fittings, EXD

March, 1985 to May, 1994 : I working as Area Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Job Description: Commissioned, start-up and maintain the new elect. System for the new RMP refinery (Refinery Modernization Project) In Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, at total cost KD/580 million. RMP was built by JGC Company (Japan).
RMP electric system consists of.

* Main bulk substation (11KV, 180 MVA, Mitsubishi manufactured), consists of
11KV vacuum circuit breakers (6nos. for incomer feeders, 4nos for IS limiters,
4 nos. for bus ties, 4 nos. for 11 KV compressors motor feeders, 38 nos. for
substation feeders), battery charger remote control panels .

* Package type substations 15 Nos. Fuji manufactured (Japan), each substation
consists of 11KV incoming feeder 2 nos., 11/3.3KV, 8MVA transformers Brush
type, 4nos. 3.3/0.440 KV, 1250 KVA transformers, 3.3 KV Vacuum circuit breakers
Toshiba type, 440V Air circuit breakers, MCC(motor control center) Tojami type,
fire alarm system (Pyrotechnics) and battery chargers.

* UPS system 14 nos. 60 KVA, 110 V AC, Gutor manufactured.

* High capacity of 11KV/3.3KV motors and 440 V motors (for classified areas).
