Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities: Manage ALS field support team which will include R&MES field service supervisors, field technicians, field level crews and pump shop support staff. Acquire data, assess and recommend appropriate actions for improving wells life, increasing and Optimize production or improving well efficiency. Working with other OTSC team members and production department, establish list of priority projects complete with economic justification while establishing success measurement targets. Conduct a critical post optimization evaluation that captures lessons learned and recommendations for future actions, RCFA and Corrosion monitoring. Maintain a strong working relationship with other OTSC team members (Petroleum Engineers and Geology’s), production and work over managers. Conduct ALS training school for local staff.
Petrozuata San Diego de Cabrutica. (May 2005 – Dec. 2006).
One (1) year and six (7) months working as Production Operations Facilities Superintendent in Petrozuata oil field, Working on a 14/14 rotation schedule, Orinoco’s Belt. Accountable for the Degasification and Dehydration of field daily production. Treatment and injection of residual water. Produced and non-produced fluid streams Handling. Production counting. Manage chemical handling and consumption. Manage optimization strategies of the processes and of the operations personnel taking care of daily tasks. Eight (8) months working as Oil Production Specialist Senior Engineer. Working on a 14/14 rotation schedule, in the Production Management, Production Operations Department, Petrozuata, Orinoco’s Belt. Oriented to increase oil production in the field in Horizontal and multilateral wells, maintaining the potential, reducing operative costs, defining production operations work procedures as well as surface and safety procedures, proper and feasible. Evaluation of new artificial lifting technologies together with the Engineering Department, Gas, water and sand Production Optimization. Accountable to execute the necessary actions to operatively guaranty the fulfillment of the completion test schedule in year 2001. (RCFA) failure analysis troubleshooting of artificial lift equipment by ESP’s and PCP’s. Elaborate development plans for San Diego de Cabrutica field. Manage and plan production and potential production in short, medium and long term, as well as the statistics allowing follow up and improvements. Petrozuata Puerto La Cruz. (June 2000 - May 2001):
Eleven (11) months working as Oil Production Senior Engineer for the Technical Services Department, Production Management of Petrozuata. Oriented to increase and optimize blend oil production, rationalizing the use of diluent (Naphtha), Optimizing water and sediment production, handling gas and optimize artificial lifting equipment useful life. Maintain Field Potential, cost reduction and operative expenses. Evaluation of new artificial lift equipment technologies and definition of down hole and surface equipment to be installed in wells. (RCFA) Failure analysis and troubleshooting artificial lift equipment (ESP’s and PCP’s), Accountable to manage the Petrozuata-Centrilift agreement during this period.
