• Responsible to direct and assign jobs to subordinate instrumentation technicians engaged in the calibration, servicing, modification and repair of all plant instrumentation systems.
• Providing technical advice in planning for a new equipment and assistance in the preparation of sufficient stock levels.
• To supervise and carryout the skilled installation, diagnose malfunctions, implementing preventive, predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance of all instruments & controllers. Testing and repair of a variety of instruments.
• To coordinate with planning, scheduling and inspecting the quality of completed work and conformity to work specifications and standards.
• Diagnosis and rectification of faults such as safety validity checking, commissioning & loop checking.
• Preparation of failure reports, daily and monthly reports
• Rising technical queries and suggestions with mutual co-ordination with clients.
• Coordination with operations, mechanical and electrical supervisory personnel to identify causes of abnormal operations and verify correct and accurate operation of instrumentation.

Working as Senior Instrument Foreman (Process Control) for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) Shuaiba Refinery at Kuwait through maintenance contract of M/s. Kharafi National. In Shuaiba Refinery responsible for Crude Distillation plant, utility, Hydrogen manufacturing unit and hydrogen compressor house. Involving in projects, daily corrective and preventive jobs and additional modification jobs in Refinery as Instrument Supervisor (Process Control) and technical coordination with engineers. The other activities are log preparation, maintaining and execute the jobs.

Familiar with Honeywell TPS (Total Plant Solution), DRP 3000, 300 & 1000 (Honeywell) Model Recorders, Yokogawa multi loop controllers, DX 100 Yew paper less recorders and Ronan. Compressor controller FT-50 PLC, BENTLY NEVADA 3500, 3300 series.
Maintenance of Cooper Bessmer reciprocating hydrogen compressors, FT-50 PLC installed and commissioned for 4 hydrogen compressors.
Safe guarding of ESD- ABB August SE-300E system and troubleshooting, shutdown maintenance and modification jobs
Annunciation system and various monitoring and controlling instruments.
Familiar with instrumentation related documentation such as P&ID’s, datasheets, functional logic diagrams, ESD schematics.
Actively involved in major shutdown of the refinery, Responsible for shutdown jobs like – Major Refinery Turn Around (MRTA), General Refinery Turn Around (GRTA).
Execute activities in line with asset HSE cases and ISO14001 and Technical Audit requirements. (Implementation of 9000 series quality Management, Concepts & Systems)
Familiar with codes of practice and procedures, work permit procedures and work order system ( maximo 5.2).

2. From Sep’ 97 to Jan’ 2001
Worked as Instrument Technician in Rolls Royce Industrial Power India Ltd in Operation and Maintenance (208 MW Combined Cycle Godavari Gas Power Project, 3X48 MW Westinghouse Gas Turbines , 64 MW Parsons Steam Turbine and 3 No’s International Combustion Ltd Heat Recovery Steam Generators) Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada through the maintenance contract of M/s Sri Satya Electrical Works.

Familiar with Gas/Naphtha and Steam Turbine related instruments
Familiar with Instrument air dryer and instrument air compressors
Actively involved in major shutdowns (C Inspection) of gas turbines and Steam turbine
knowledge of Westinghouse Distributed Processing Family System and Allen Bradley
PLC
I participated with ISO jobs like, Data Sheet preparation, document up-dating, instrument time bound calibration and maintenance etc.

3. From May’ 96 to Sep’ 97
I worked as a Instrument Technician in Ub Engineering Ltd for the Construction and Commissioning of 3X48 MW Westinghouse Gas Turbines at 208 MW Combined Cycle Godavari Gas Power Project, Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada, India.
Involved in construction and commissioning pre commissioning activities like loop checking, safety validity check and simulation check of gas turbine and related instrumentation
Having knowledge on various specifications, JB Schedules and Termination Details preparation. I am well conversant with P& I Diagrams, Electrical Schematics, Hookups and Loop Diagrams.
Calibration of various field instruments.

4. From April’95 to April’96

I worked as a Instrument Technician in Andhra pradesh paper mills Ltd, Andhra Pradesh, Rajahmundry Capacity of 300 Tons per day
