ENFIELD Turret RTM Mooring System.

The concept of disconnect able turret mooring systems. This allows the exploitation of reserves in locations where severe weather conditions such as typhoons, hurricanes or ice packs, might threaten the safe operation of the facility. The Enfield turret is the largest bow mounted, disconnect-able turret to be built and only 5 turrets of this designation exist in the world today.

McDermott Caspian Contractors Inc. (MCCI), a subsidiary of J. Ray McDermott, S.A., operates a portion of the fabrication facility of the Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory (BDJF), named after the late President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev. BDJF is owned by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic and is located 30 km south of Baku, the capital.
Under contract to the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), MCCI is fabricating integrated decks and installing subsea pipelines for Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 as part of the development of the ACG fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
