18 years, Perform general maintenance and repair activities on all electrical equipment in the offshore /Rig installation in a safe and efficient manner.

At present I am working as Electrical Maintenance Specialist with Dubai Petroleum Company, Offshore/Rig platform and Rotation Schedule of 28/28 days, which is operated by Conoco Philips, USA and key member of the Operations Team and is responsible for the following;
Responsibility for the development of the electrical maintenance program related to the newly commissioned field wide equipment and provides the effective maintenance program for maintenance personnel to execute safely.
Supervise the Electrical team effectively to provide sustainable production uptime, especially in the formative period of equipment and process stabilisation. Troubleshooting and fault finding issues on newly installed equipment and planning safe interventions whilst minimising downtime.
Ensure all maintenance activities are safely conducted using the correct maintenance techniques and procedures.
Develop the work routines and job plans into an effective co-ordinated work team to assure the Operations Department as the primary customer the high level of reliability and sustainability for equipment and related sub-system identified below but not limited to :
Oil storage tanks/ / oil pipeline, Firewater system, Compression facilities, gas lift and gas injection. (Rolls-roys, GE and Solar), Gas transfer, gas lift, gas import / injection pipelines, Power generation, GTG process control (2.5MW (Make:Solar) and 260 MW (Make:GE) frame 9) power station, Electro-chlorinator system, Water Injection system, wellhead injection flow lines, Instrument Air compressor controls, Gaitronics communication systems and Utilities.
Read and fully comprehend manuals, schematics, blue prints, as built drawings of the Rig and oil platforms. And to insure the work is done properly and all safety regulations are adhered too.

Liaison with Company man, Senior Foreman, Mechanics, Crew, and others as required for the proper scheduling of repairs and maintenance work.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs that could be deemed outside the experience level of on-site Electricians. Making use of the troubleshooting and repair instances as opportunities to perform on-the-job training whenever possible.

Complete on-site work permits, perform pre-job checks, Job safety analysis and assign maintenance and repair jobs to Electricians as per their individual experience level.

Perform post-job checks and testing of equipment after repairs.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections and maintenance as set forth in the preventative maintenance program.

Complete daily electrician’s reports, equipment maintenance reports, and preventative maintenance reports, distribute as required.

Education:

Higher Diploma in Power System Engineering

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Trainings:

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and swing rope training.

H2S, Waste Management and HSE Training.

Attended training of High Voltage Operation training by Singapore Power Training Institute, Singapore.

Electrical Supervisor`s Competency Certificate training Issued by Government of India.
GE gas turbine speedtronic controls maintenance course.

SAP R/3-MM Release 4.6c Key User system software for implementation of plant maintenance and materials management systems by Tractable Energy Engineering.

Industrial Fire Fighting training by SUT Sakra at Indonesia.

Handling of all types of softwares.

High Voltage competency certificate issued by India Electricity board upto 230KV systems.
