- Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises, coordinate and approve the activities of assigned personnel and the EPC contractor on all electrical related activities. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by management for the position. Coordinate electrical specification review and approval of equipment and interface with Contractor and Vendors on behalf of the Company requirements.
• Coordinate all electrical related issues and ensure electrical discipline, interdisciplinary and operational input from the company is communicated and reflected in specifications.
• Attends to and resolves contractor queries and provide technical guidance and expertise such that project goals are clearly understood and to minimize delays. Reviews and approves all related technical documents and advised Engineering Manager.
• Participates in technical evaluation of contractor vendor proposals to assess technical capability and ensure that bidders proposals are comply with set specifications.
• Responsible for appropriate electrical certifications, as required are carried out in accordance with Project and international standards.
• Participates in all project reviews including HAZOP etc.
• Responsible for the coordination and adherence to all HSE related issues including risk studies and the implementation of HSE into the contractors design and contractors activities.
• Coordinates and provide engineering support to the Construction team.
• Ensure project electrical engineering activities are executed according to the project technical specifications with the contract scope of work and meets time schedules.
• Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking at any task(s) that are perceived a unsafe. Complies with the Company QHSE management system and reports all incidents and near misses to the supervisor or QHSE representatives.
• Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the Engineering Manager.
• PC literate.
