Progressed through various engineering roles to responsible positions in the Home office & construction field. Conversant with International codes and standards ASME Section 1 Section V111 , ASME B.31.1,31.3, 31.8, ANSI , PFI, MSS SP, NFPA, BS, OSHA

Piping Field Engineer

•Rolls and responsibilities: Working as Piping engineer Responsible to resolve or all technical issues in errection, Fabrication and Testing.
•Pre commissioning activities of piping systems like flushing and air blows.
•Material Ordering, Tracking, and issuing for Fabrication and errection.
•Formulation & preperation hydro test packages and work packages, support the planning& scheduling group for the work completion and testing to meet the critical schedules of project completion.
•Preperation of work list and then punchlist of the startup turnover systems based on scope of work , project specifications , standards and codes applicable and best industrial practices
•Review of ISO drawings and Carry out inspections as per the requirement of Specification.
•Follow up of Radiography requirements
•Follow up of PWHT for weld joints.
•Prepare corporate and project coating specifications for line pipes, field joints and other equipments
•Participate in client and contractor clarification meetings
•Oversee project procedure qualification Review
•Troubleshoot coating problems as they occur
•Review client and contractor documentation
•Preliminary design and/or checking of thermal insulation designs

POSITION HELD: Field Engineer - Coating / Painting & Insulation.
Responsibilities :
•Review of painting specifications, blasting and painting procedures.
•Review of Contractor’s Purchase Inquiry Documents on painting materials.
•Materials receipt inspection and verification.
•Reviewing, advising and answering of STQs related to painting raised by CONTRACTOR.
•Responsible to check and calibrate all inspection tools and equipment prior to all inspection jobs.
•Coordinating, witnessing and documenting of painting system trial test.
•Coordinate blasting and painting work and ensure compliance with Company’s specification.
•Monitoring and verifying blasting and painting quality to ensure compliance with relevant CONTRACT specification and drawings.
•Ensure all painting preparation and application is conducted in accordance with accepted procedures/specifications.
•Preparation of daily progress report to record usage of painting materials, inspection activities carried out, etc.
•Prepare and monitor punch list items, ensuring they are being resolved prior to sail away.
•Review final documentation.
•Provide feedback and advise concerning quality problems. Monitor all safety aspects of the works and perform unsafe act regularly.
