1. Working as Piping design engineer..

COMPANY: TAESUNG ENGINEERING CO., LTD. (From Sept. 2006)

Responsibilities

 Perform the three dimensional (3D) design using PDMS and PDS
 The 3D model integrates 3D basic design information of disciplines, Such as equipment and piping, instrument etc.
 3D modeling of Piping, Equipment and Structural,
 Deliverables extraction (Isogen and Drawing Manager for Isometrics and G.A. drawing).
 Preparation of detailed piping route design.
 Perform actual design and drafting works.
 MTO and preparation of as-built drawings.
 P&ID, process flows and isometrics using CAD packages
 Clash Detection and Smart Plant Review.

COMPANY: TANKTECH CO., LTD (From Dec. 2004 to Sept. 2006)
Busan, South Korea.

Responsibilities

 Perform the three dimensional (3D) design using PDMS and PDS.
 PDMS Equipment modeling and PDMS piping design.
 PDMS Draft (Isogen and Drawing Manager for Isometrics and G.A. drawing).
 Preparation of detailed piping route design.
 Perform actual design and drafting works.
 MTO and 3D Model using PDMS and PDS, and preparation of as-built drawings.
 Design of high pressure tank, pipe line system which carries the high pressure fresh fluid.
 Design, Modeling and assembling of pipe line arrangement in cargo vessels carrying high pressure fluid.
 Making of assembly and part drawings for the entire system.
 Design and flow calculation: Pressure drop calculation.

(Fire Protection and safety technology) Pusan, South Korea.

Responsibilities

 Design of tank, pipe line system which carries the high pressure mixture of foam, fresh water, sea water, and Co2.
 Design of expansion foam system includes foam tank, foam generator and nozzles.
 Design, Modeling and assembling of pipe line arrangement in vessel carrying high pressure fluid.
 Making of assembly and part drawings for the entire system.
 Design and arrangement of nozzles.
 Design and flow calculation: Pressure drop calculation.
 Making of project report for the system, includes design and operational data.

Tools used: PDS, VANTAGE PDMS, SOLID WORKS, Auto-CAD, Modeling and detailing, V1.4, V1.5 – Piping design and flow calculations.


3. Worked as senior contract engineer.

ORGANIZATION: Gas Turbine Research Establishment (DRDO).
Ministry of defense, Govt. of INDIA (August 2001 – Oct.2003)
NATURE OF WORK:
Gas turbine Research Establishment is one of the pioneering Research and Development Organizations under the ministry of Defense, Government of India. The main charter of the Establishment is to design and develop aero gas turbine engines for military applications, besides carrying out advanced research work in the area of aero Gas-Turbine subsystems. In addition, the Establishment is responsible for establishing the requisite testing and prototype manufacturing facilities for components and full-scale engine development.
Worked in Rotor support and Internal Flow of Mechanical Group, Which is connected with the Development of Gas Turbine Engine (Kaveri Engine) for Light Combat Aircraft(LCA) And Kaveri Marine Engine for marine application.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:

PROJECT 1: DESIGN AND MODELING OF SUPPLY PIPE LINES. :
Software used: Pro-E, Auto-CAD.
MODELING: Solid Modeling.
Modeling of parts and assembling of the entire oil supply system.

PROJECT 2: DESIGN AND MODELING OF SCAVENGE PIPE LINES.

Software used: Pro-E, Auto-CAD.

Modeling of parts and assembling of the entire scavenge system

PROJECT 3: MODELING AND ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS FOR LUBRICATION SYSTEM.

Software used: Pro-E.
Assembly of oil supply, Scavenge, Drain, Breather of Oil connections for Bearing
Chambers of Turbine.

PROJECT 4: ANALYSIS AND DOCUMENTATION OF ROTOR SUPPORT SYSTEM.
Software used: Excel, MS-word, and Auto-CAD-2000.
PROJECT 5: OIL TANK.
Software used: Pro-E, Auto-CAD.
MODELING: surface Modeling.
Oil tank is used for storing of lubricating oil, which is used for lubricating the main bearings of the engine, gearbox, and other engine accessories.


4. Worked as CAD Engineer in arogya Signage systems Pvt. Ltd. (March 2000 - July 2001)
