1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I’m a geology degreed, working since nearly 4 years in the oil industry for logging companies, as a Mud-logger first, and as a Data-Engineer/Unit Manager then, and as Wellsite Geologist at present time.
I have experience of both land and offshore jobs, I have been working in the Danish, Scottish and Norwegian sector of the North Sea on board jack-ups, semi-subs and production platforms.

I have no problem to move wherever the job requires, and eventually relocate on a regular base.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Work History

occasionally OPERATIONS GEOLOGIST rotations performed.
Responsibilities include:
analysing, evaluating and describing formations whilst drilling using cuttings, gas, FEMWD (formation evaluation measurement while drilling) and wireline data;
comparing data gathered during drilling with predictions made at the exploration stage;
advising operations personnel on site and in the operations office;
calling for coring on shows and gas;
advising on drilling hazards and drilling bit optimisation;
taking full responsibility for making decisions about suspending or continuing drilling;
supervising mudlogging, FEMWD and wireline services personnel and monitoring quality control in relation to these services;
keeping detailed records and writing reports/logs, and ensuring the transmission of these;
undertaking evaluation of offset data before beginning drilling;
maintaining up-to-date knowledge of MWD (measuring while drilling) tools, such as gamma and resistivity;
communicating with onshore operations offices;

MAY 2005 – SEP 2006

Responsibilities include:
Data Engineer/Unit manager responsibilities on all operated fields;
Assist other well site personnel and the drilling operation by recording drilling parameters;
Managing of chromatograph, gas line and gas system, for gas evaluation and gas while drilling recording; providing the client with gas ratios and pressure logs evaluation.
Monitoring and recording drilling fluid properties and pumping parameters;
Providing primary well control surveillance by plotting pressure trends ('d' exponent) and range of other services.

JUL 2002 – APR 2005

Responsibilities include:
 Mud Logging Geologist/Data Engineer on all operated fields.
 Sampling analysis of drilled formations.
Knowledge of a range of technical information including geology, chemistry, mechanics, electricity, electronics and computer science.

OCT 2001 – JUN 2002

Responsibilities include:
Collaboration with Research & Development department of the group for
the realisation ,on Lotus Notes platform, of a support applied software for internal call centre and CRM.
Developing and managing web banking and e-commerce web pages on ASP language.

FEB 2000 – SEPT 2001

Responsibilities included:
 Development of gravimetric Bouguer Map of Campanian Area from gravimetric surveys.
 Managing of Geolink and Surfer software’s for 2D and 3D representation of gravimetric maps.
 Conducted several studies on 2D gravimetric sections of Southern Apennine Chain from the Adriatic to the Thirrenian side finalized to sort out a clearer picture of the general trend of the carbonate basement.
