1. Reliance Engineering Associates Limited (REAL): June 2002 – April 2007
REAL is a sister concern of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India’s largest private sector unit. REAL is the construction wing of RIL involved in the construction of refineries, power plants and other infrastructure for RIL.
PROJECT:
A 27 million tones per annum (54000 barrels per day) capacity refinery for Reliance Petroleum Limited (RPL) at Jamnagar in Gujarat, India.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing Reliance project procedures and develop work processes.
2. Communicate with the team about the on goings in the site
3. Preparing the schedule and assign the resources for the job.
4. Track and record the developments in the project using Primavera 3.
5. Revise Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
6. Prepared status reports and provided guidance to construction coordinators.
7. Develop and update all man hour estimates and budgets for future and present work scopes.
8. Prepare networks/schedules for all projects and assist in preparing estimates.
2. SAIPEM Angola– May 2007 to till date
Currently working as a Planning Engineer for SAIPEM in Angola in South Western Africa.
PROJECT: FARM Project
This Offshore project involves the construction of unmanned platforms and laying the necessary pipelines from the platforms connecting them to the FPSO and also the pipelines to the export line.
Responsibilities:
1. Daily monitoring of site activities highlighting delays and advising recovery actions.
2. Tracking and recording the developments and delays in the project using Primavera 3.
3. Revise Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
4. Track work breakdown, man – hours, and developments in the project.
5. Responsible for changes and upgrades as needed to assure accuracy of predictions and adequate representation of current operating conditions.
6. Prepare status reports and periodically submit the reports to the Project Manager.
