· I have Graduated in 1987 from Mechanical Engineering Institute , Syria.
· I am currently employed as a Production Supervisor and section head deputy at the same time of the Omar Area by AL-FURAT PETROLEUM COMPANY (AFPC), Al Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC) is a joint venture (JV) between the Syrian Petroleum Company and Shell International Exploration & Production. The Company has a multi-National environment & Shell standards are maintained in all aspects, Operation, Maintenance and HSE. The Company has an outstanding HSE record.
· The Company is producing some190,000 bbls/d of oil and as secondary recovery some 640,000 bbls/d of water is injected into the reservoir.
· As discipline (As the Operations Supervisor), I am responsible for the day to day Operation of 3 water treatment , lift& injection station and associated water injection wells continuous operation of those injection facilities, water injection, well testing, chemical injection and pipeline operations. I am also responsible for all well related activities including rig handover and well start up, wire line interventions and preparations for work over operations. Good listener engenders a high degree of trust from colleague in multi-discipline and multi-culture.

Work History:

· 1992 – 1997 – Syria Petroleum Company (SPC) as Gathering Station and Oil Terminal Operator.

· 1997 – 2007 Present Al Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC).

· Professional Experience And Responsibilities:

· water treatment and water injection operator and senior operator (1997-2000):
·
· I am responsible for the day to day Operation of water lift water station and water treatment station and water injection station and water injection well . Start/stop these stations, emergency handling. Open/close/ bean up/bean down injection wells. and Emergency station. Operate SCSSSV/ SSV (emergency protection valves) and Xmas tree. Check the well integrity. Preparing tanks/ flow lines/ separators/ station equipment for maintenance or major isolation and inspection. . Monitoring different type of chemical corrosion/scale inhibitors and dose rate and adjust as require. Launching/receiving Pigs to clean different purpose of flow lines.

· As a water treatment and injection stations Supervisor (2000-2004) then from( feb 2006 up to date):

· Responsible for day to day running of water treatment plant supervising 30 subordinate national & Expatriate staff.
· Permit to work issue & control, maintenance activity co-ordination, HSE performance improvements Chemical procurements & performance & costs where part of the requirements of this job.
· Besides the water injection plant, I had the opportunity to supervise the operation of the central production facility. This consist of several outstation and the down stream oil processing system which removes free water and salts from crude oil prior to export .water treatment plant is receiving fresh water from river and deoxygenate it by both way chemical and mechanical then mix it with producer water and inject it by using two hundred pumps &potable water station to provide field offices and employers residence family by utility water and drinking water.

I am responsible about the vapour recovery system and gas compressor and degassing system and condensate system and all permit to work system and free knock out tanks and desalting tanks and dehydration tanks and shipping system. and produced water system and observing the chemical injection ( de-emulsifier and paraffin displacement PD11)
