Duties & Responsibilities
Working on offshore platform and responsible for-
1) Repair and maintenance of VHF handheld Radios Model STANDARD HX-341, HX-370, HX-380 & HX-381, VHF AM Radios YAESU Aviator pro, FURUNO FM-8500 Radiotelephone, JOTRON VHF GMDSS Radios, Base Stations ICOM IC-M80.
2) Programming the radios through standard programming software and its interface.
3) Repair and maintenance of single slot battery chargers for HX-370 (CD-26), for HX-341 (STANDARD CSA 101), for HX-381 (MC I a), for GMDSS radio (TCH-12), and six slot battery chargers for HX-341 and HX-381.
4) Repair and maintenance of Life Boat intercom system VINGTOR Brand.
5) Repair and maintenance of Radio Beacon Transmitter NAUTEL ND-500 II & Beacon Monitor Receiver NAUTEL NRB4
6) Handling all EPBX related tasks. EPBX System SONY ERICSON consono MD 110 with 20 input lines and 200 extensions.

Duties & Responsibilities
1) Repair and maintenance of Repeaters (Standard RPT-30, 180 Watts). Repair of repeater includes the calibration of duplexer according to Tx and Rx frequencies. Repair of driver cards, final amplifier cards, Rx module, and Tx modules. Adjusting sensitivity of Rx module, adjusting of tail timer and timer out timer of Tx module, adjustment of squelch control according to sensitivity.
2) Repair of Base Stations (Standard GX-1500) and Hand held radios (Standard HX-340, HX-341, HX-440 and HX-441). Repair of microprocessor card, EPROM stage, pre-amplifier and final amplifier stage, Tuning of frequency deviation, power, sensitivity and VCO.
3) Programming the hand held and mobile radio (i.e. TX frequency, Rx frequency, Tx tone, Rx tone, Tx timeout timer, Tx inhibit timer, busy lockout, emergency channel, Tx low power, battery save timer, CTCSS reverse burst and ANI), using computer and its standard interface.
4) Repair and maintenance of ANI Decoders (ST-822) and as well configuring the ANI Decoders according to its compatible data and programming the ANI Encoders (ST-804 & ST-804) using computer and its interface.
5) Repair of 50Amp, 13.8Vdc power supplies (Astron). This power supply is used with repeaters. And repair of 10Amp, 13.8 Vdc power supplies that are used with base stations.
6) Repair of six slot and single slot battery chargers.
7) Knowledge of calibration of frequency, frequency deviation, ctcss parameters, ANI codes, sensitivity of radio sets, power and reflection power of radios and repeaters using service monitor IFR-1500.
8) Supervising telephone technicians to keep trouble free PABX telephone system (Model: NEC-2400) of 230 extension lines, 10 PTT input lines.
